Two things I'm surprised Doug missed:
1: The keyhole in the engine compartment is not for the engine, it's to disconnect the hybrid battery from the engine/electric motor.
2: The engine cover instructions he was referencing was not for the glass engine cover, but the instructions for opening the driver and passenger doors before lifting the rear body cover up to expose more of the engine.
You were surprised? Very new viewer, I see haha. Doug's alright, but boy he's as dumb as a box of rocks on occasion.
The second ignition switch in the engine compartment is to allow mechanics to turn on the engine without having to get in the cab. Military trucks also have that feature.
But it had a little fireman’s hat icon next to it. I figured it was to shut down the hybrid system.
I have seen a lot of Ferrari la Ferrari on youtube but only Doug can make me see the real car inside and out.

Thb that's the reason I watch him. Nobody else really shows you the car, it's mostly just abstract comments about the car which you can hear everyday. But Doug really shows you in and out, down to every button.

And it was a fucking V10, by its looks I think a 2002, 2003 or 2004 car, so one of the best F1 cars ever

That sound alone makes this car worth its price. I like the rest too, it's aggressive, functional, the interior is focused. I feel Ferrari's supercars have always pulling off feeling "fit for race" well and this is no different, absolutely love and like it more than the Enzo for instance. Hope to own one one day...

I’ve heard David lee say he drives all his cars as much all the time. Because he has a lot of cars to cycle through the cars don’t get much mileage individually as it’s shared amongst all his cars. Also I noticed David’s eyes fixated on Doug’a hands. I’m assuming he’d prefer both of them on the wheel at all times.

Having spent quite a bit of time on the track in Ferraris, I can say: that is absolutely not true. You might be surprised how casual many of the owners are. (At least, the ones that actually drive their cars rather than rubbing them with a diaper every day.)

Most unusual horn I’ve seen was on my friend’s father’s car - can’t remember the make/year/model. It was a pretty big boat but the horn was a rubber pressure strip on the inside of the steering wheel ring: you just squeezed it.
It’s nice to see Doug wore his good cargo shorts to acknowledge the gravity of the moment.

Doug I think that sticker about how to open the engine cover applies to the larger cover, not that little part in the middle. Pretty sure more of it opens, it would need to for service.

22.33 🤣 lol so funny. But in all serious things tho. The wing mirrors in that shot head on make sense, the headlights pulling the eye towards the center point. Even the air duct in the bonnet is slight angled, the roof pillars go skyward making the cabin thinner but then you spot the big ass hips out back and the wing mirrors blend in because normal car mirrors go out 4in or so then the mirror housing so if you line up that on a straight shot front on it may be the same. Still odd tho don't even think Pagani wing mirrors that long? Does it come in right hand drive? Live at the bottom of the world. Rh drive and in the left lane 🤣😂🚘🚗 great videos.
