I love the Los Angeles County Fire Department Air Operations Helicopters! The Bell 206A Jet Rangers, Agusta/Westland AW-139s, Bell 412 Hueys ( now sadly retired ), and the Sikorsky S-70A and S-70I Firehawks! This is awesome seeing the Bell 412 and Sikorsky S-70A together!
I miss watching these birds. I used work at whiteman airport as a fuel guy and on my down time I'd seat and watch the 412 and firehawks do their operations.
How to hell do u not like the smell of jet-a burning. Typical Californian for you I guess. That’s what makes a turbine special is the special of the sweet burning fuel.

I believe the AW139s belong to the City of Los Angeles.
@5:08 That Firehawk in the background is a monster compared to the Bell 412 they just landed.
I got to crew the prototype of the Firehawk. Had a blast.
@1:10 that’s the new Firehawk (she carries three times more than water then the previous helicopters).
3:53 Fire hawk No. 19 is getting ready to fly too!!!
What is the siren used for?
