Most bathrooms in this house are double the size of one of my usual bedrooms, and some bedrooms are as big as a whole floor ... 😂It amazes me how you manage to decorate rooms of that size so well, how you balance empty spaces with the placement of your furniture, and how you use artwork with so much precision to set accents. The huge windows throughout the house flood it with light, and you go for such pale, airy colours in most of the rooms that I can almost hear sounds echo through the rooms and hallways ... I'd probably wander through this house for days singing, trying to find the room with the best acoustics, and then go there everyday just to sing for an hour or two. Or, even better: move into this house with a small choir (11 people is not a bad size) and sing a capella with them.
The "wall of books" in the library next to the huge window looks majestic (although I agree: a ladder would be most helpful) and almost exactly as I imagined, while the rest of the room feels unusually cluttered. With all the stacks of books lying about, it feels either as though someone was doing extensive research, a bookworm had gone insane with so much choice and was trying to read all the books at once, or they were in the process of tidying up the place and reordering the books on the shelves. Either of these options fills the place with life yet again and I would believe you without batting an eyelid that that was the look you were going for.
When it comes to fire hazards, I would not be worried as much about the library as about the "tiger room:" You put CANDLES in a CHILD'S BEDROOM under a CLOTH TENT, next to and on a STACK OF BOOKS! 😨 Have you gone mad? 🤯 I mean, that is also a way to get rid of an unwanted child by using the "survival of the fittest." It is, coincidentally, also an exceptionally effective way to get rid of your flagrantly oversized mansion. Not in The Sims 4 though; candles are entirely safe in the hands of children and near flammable objects in this game. 👍 I just can't help but stress out about these things. Guess I'm weird that way. 😅
aaaaaaah you're so right about the candle in the tent & i promise it was a conscious decision (does that make it better? not sure...), just like every time i place a plant in a dark corner, i had to tell myself that it's not real and they're gonna be fine. it'd be so cozy to read there by candlelight though, i just couldn't resist! as always, thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and the thought of you moving in with a choir is so incredibly funny to me idk hahahaha
@@Honeybella I'd probably just place a lantern if I wanted my sims to read by candlelight in a tent ... 😅 That way, it's both cosy and safe. 🤓
And it is absolutely okay to laugh at the thought of me moving in with a choir; it was kinda meant as a nonsensical association. But then again ... I'd love to live my "musical dreams" of just breaking out into song whenever I wanted with talented people to sing along and with great acoustics to just bathe in the sound together ... I'm weird. I know. I blame Disney. 🤷♀

Would you consider showing furnished floor plans along with your video tours? I'm in love with your style/design & seeing the floor plans would help me understand your builds even better :) So impressive as always!
i feel like showing the floor plans would take away from the aesthetic i like for the video tour - i try to make the build look like a real place and showing the floor plan would take you out of that experience. i do sometimes screenshot them, though, so feel free to check out the download post for an overview! it might also be helpful to download a build and move through it, that's how i like to do it when i need layout inspiration :)

Hi Bella! This build and your yesterwind gothic house are giving me such a wonderful feeling of magic. Have you considered a magic inspired build, like for a witch? or maybe a classic historical build, maybe off the grid with no modern technology? all of your historical builds are really sending me rn and i want to live here
so happy you love them!! i'm not big into typical magical aesthetics - if i were a witch i'd want to live in any of my builds, preferably with a lot of books or plants, maybe södermalm vintage flat or feywood cabin!

I did indeed guess that to be the library. It's okay, you only need to be able to reach one book to reach ALL books in the Sims. Beautiful as always!

Little fun fact about the conversation at the end see through screens already exist Linus Tech Tips did a video about a see through tv awhile back and it was pretty dope they played Shadow of the Tomb Raider on it and you could see completely through the front of it when nothing was being displayed on the screen.

thank you! i usually just put them where i feel like they'd look good, sometimes i do think about which rooms would have been presented the most to visitors and thus get the most architectural details, but i don't remember if i considered that for this build!
insane! this is my dream house of dreams!. as a family vacation home! I also build a lot in the sims and use the same cc and I dont think that if this was a blue print for a vacation home that I could buy.. (I wish) that I would change things... and me and my family are... opinionated to say the least... haha is this also your sense of style? I don't know if this my "own home" style but definitely second place if you know what i mean... My dream home is more scandinavian (muuto and HAY kinds of brands) but this style also has my heart!
i'd say my perfect dream home interior is (even) more modern! also this'd be way too big, but i'm totally with you on having this as a family vacation home like that'd be incredible haha

hii, i love ur builds & have alot of them in game!! just a quick question & wondering if you have insight. i download all the cc you list for ur builds but all the cc doesn't place sometimes. for example, with this build, i have the london cane dining chairs in my game but when placing ur lot it replaces them w bg chairs. are you familiar w this at all? if not that's okay!

Why would you invite a person over to your commentary who has literally no interest in the game? The amount of condescending remarks towards the game made by that person was astonishing.
i myself am disappointed in EA's decisions time and time again, in my opinion they're far from a great company, the sims 4 is objectively not a well coded game & i think it's only right to complain about it
