Oh my goodness, this build went from incredible to insane! The house boat alone would've been super impressive but the impromptu decision to built a whole pier literally made my day ✨ I'm just always fascinated with how many creative little bits and ideas you two have, like, I would never think of half of these little tricks and hacks.

If you want a realistic looking shutter, there's an air vent in the outdoor wall decor section that when sized up and stacked looks pretty good. It comes in a decent range of swatches as well!! :)

The light you called the pikachu light goes in everyone of my builds with kids because it keeps them from having the whole monster under the bed thing. It’s super handy! Love your videos

my only complaint about the sims 4 is I want the ability to edit the whole neighborhood, not just a couple lots. Imagine if you could extend your little pier out to the actual ocean, if you could make a whole neighborhood built into the side of a hill so everyones house has a half basement and the front lawn is a steep walkway with several levels for plants and a sidewalk with trees several floors below the first floor of the house. Put trees all over the neighborhood and its a community that was built in the middle of a forest. I would love that ability.

Tip: if you place something in a basement and then raise it up it'll be visible on the above layer but won't physically be there (and therefore won't interrupt your sims). You should be able to use the boat without issues if you do that

for anyone who is curious scurvy is a disease caused by a deficiency of nutrients/minerals from not eating enough fresh fruit and vegetables which used to be most common in prates/sailors due to the fact that they were unable to keep fresh fruit and vegetables on their ships causing them to go mouths and even years without having any

--a parlor(for ex. tattoo, beauty, funeral, pizza, massage, ice cream, etc.)
--a salon(for ex. hair, nail, spa, etc.)
--barber shop
--Museum(for ex. art, science, military and war, history, etc.)
--a library(for ex. academic, school, etc.)
--a botanist build(someone else requested this and I love that idea, so I figured I'd add it)
--maybe a ancient times build? or medival? maybe renaissance?
--greenhouse
--a mosque? it might be difficult, but I believe you could do it!
--bowling center
--gym
That's all the ideas I have right now 😅

Hi Caryn and Connie, as someone who’s fairly new to the Sims world, I would absolutely love a video full of tutorials, suggestions, tips and tricks to help people like me who are just beginning their Sims journey.

An entire house themed as a greenhouse. All glass, all the plants and endless happiness.
aaah i’ve been waiting for a new upload!! looks incredible as always :) i would love to see you all do an apartment building, like a bunch of studio apartments with different aesthetics (with matching backstories for the sims who live there of course) !

Even tho it didn’t work out exactly now you wanted it, and you couldn’t have a functioning kitchen in the build BUT I think you found An amazing way to work around it and still make it look adorable and cute! It still turned out beautifully and so cute! You did such a good job

I love this little pier. I feel like if you want more than 1 sim to live here, you can use just add furniture to the houses on the pier or even build more of the little house boats.

I just LOVE this! All the small details just really make the build so cozy and this makes me feel like I’m in a log cabin, even when I’m just watching it! I love your style. It’s such a nice mix of the coziest place ever, yet a modern and natural area. While I was watching the parents living scene in the 8 story house, I said “why in the world would they chose that table? It looks… weird” and then when it was done, I said “wow. I want to live here. Like, just on the table. I WOULD DO IT-“ Your sense of humor and the amazing commentary makes me smile. I can’t believe I’ve only known about this channel for a month or two. We went from cute modern boat house to pirate real fast and it’s unsettling.
i love how everything in this boat is all about treasure and pirates and those cool things, but if so much as a single wave hits this boat, lighter fluid is hitting the wALLS

This is my absolute favorite build. I totally thought the boat was going to be too small and narrow to be a decent living space, but you fit everything a Sim needed! And it looks SO good. Man, I wish it was this easy to build a real boathouse.
Challenge idea: A giant private cruiser that acts as a house to multiple people. Bottom floor has to be the engine room with tons of pipes and storage stuff! Second floor maybe the "house" bit with kitchens etc and the stairs/ladder to the ground outside. Maybe stick personalized bedrooms in there or make another floor for them? Top deck has to have an area for them to hang out (lounging? fishing? partying?), plus the control room!
I can't believe how much y'all inspired me. I'm literally only gonna build houseboats from now on

as someone who has spent two weeks on a house boat sailing the aposil islands, this is 1 absolutly beautiful and 2 gonna all be on one side of the boat broken and in pieces after one smalll wave, yoou gotta bolt everything down in a boat unfortunately, ALSO that fridge i wanna see this guy trying to get that in
I love how the front of a boat is the bathroom and not what was left over of the helm and captain's quarters or console post-restoration xD

This makes me want to create a whole small town, each sim life different lives. Someone who owns the pub, someone owns the fish shop that buys the fish our man catches and in return offers him meals. Also his love interest who owns the bakery, he gives fresh fish to her cats and she bakes him treats to take on his fishing trips.
I was here before 100k💗 I would love if you guys can make a house in that secret area! In the tree in I think maybe willow creek..? I’m bad at remembering names. But there you can make a lot with cheats visible and you can’t play there but it would be so fun!

I really love the vibe of your channel. I feel like so many sims TH-camrs don’t go out of their comfort zone or try new ideas or colours or textures. There are so many times where you guys pull out an item and I think ‘how in the world are they gonna work with that’ and then like magic, you make beautiful!!

I really love your sims 4 videos!
My gripe with a lot of popular sims 4 youtubers is that they struggle and need to make their builds "perfect" and seem to be devoid of any creativity.
But you guys? You use the "ugly" wallpaper, the unconventional couch, and you figure out how to make the furniture match the atmosphere! Plus, I never know what to expect! You are both so creative and it makes me really happy to see all of your tips because I work a lot with debug base game.
Cool debug tip- you can find a version of the tall potted vines without the pot and have it climb your outdoor walls, line porches, and even layer it with other climbing flowers! I wish base game had some kind of vine option, but I saw that in another comment you had an overgrown green house on your list! Hopefully this tip helps, it worked for my pastel-goth-witch cottage!

You guys may already know this but I didn’t see you use this feature when you needed it… for the windows if you look above the different heights for them you can choose curved windows to fit rounded walls. I love your videos and imaginations!!
