Been saying for ages that Peyton and Ray need a show of their own where they break down the intricacies of offense and defense. Would be must watch TV.
You'll know it's rigged then so definitely not going to happen💯
It would not be must see. Football is complex and whole I’d enjoy it most fans wouldn’t care to go that deep. It would be a hard sell
This too deep bruh, chill
Damn! I didn’t know i needed this
Ray would take Shannon's job but he wouldnt be Skips puppet.
I could listen to people like Ray or Peyton talk football all damn day. The amount of film study is exactly why they are some of the greatest to ever play this game. They play like they've seen it before, and it is because they have seen it all before in the film room.
Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were destroying plays before the ball was even snapped. I loved watching this guy play.
Same with Troy Polamalu. Just ask Pat McAfee.
This is what seperates the true Hall Of Famers from just good players. This is the difference so please HOF stop putting just anybody in.
I guess gronk shouldn't get in since he said he barely watches film.
@@RJ-qs6nm there you go being ignorant, there's always one.
It also helps if you kill a couple guys to make sure you cover it up- if their blood is found inside your limo and the suit you were wearing disappears and you're convicted of obstruction of justice just make sure you get the best attorneys and pay off the right people- especially the families of the two murder victims. Admitting him to the hall of fame is a pretty low bar. He paid excellent attention to detail in the cover-up just like he did to playing football- Bravo!
@@doctorkhumalo7730 how?
@@MisterMooster never since ever has anything you said mattered.
I just picture Ray Lewis in a dark home theater with the clicker in his hand, clicking for hours
Ray Lewis is great, not just because of his athletic abilities. He was a hardworking student of the game. I hope he coaches.
also aided in covering up a double murder
He took someone's life.
But but but.. he found Jezuz and praises Jezuz almighty 👏🏿
@@Deke1 Self defense isn’t murder. Y’all people in this thread above are
M O R O N S.
@@moptopzzz8076he took plenty of lives on the field.😂😭
Even when Ray is chill, he looks like he's about to run through a wall!
Agreed with Ray Lewis man…..every elite defender needs to study film like hell to know everything about someone and especially if the opponent is one of the best like Brady or Mahomes. Learn to beat them at their game and not just read and react
Man I can listen to Ray All day love the way he explains football.
Too bad he wouldn't explain how he helped coverup a double murder
And this is why I believe he’s the best middle LB ever. Not only his motivation and leadership but he’s just as smart or smarter than the QB
Except Peyton
Love hearing Ray Lewis talking about the game of football. I could listen to him all day.
Unfortunately for Ray, Peyton Manning had an entire house dedicated to studying Ray Lewis tape.
🤣🤣🤣💯
@@herkyj yeah, they both got a few
🤣🤣🤣🤣 did he ??
Peyton lost only twice to the Ravens lol!
@@AmirKhan-yv8jm Did you forget about the Playoff loss when Manning was in Denver the year the Ravens won the Super Bowl ? Manning as a QB had 3 losses to Ray Lewis led Ravens. When it was good Raven's teams vs Good Peyton teams in the Playoffs the record was just 2-1. Still a winning record but a little different than the padded wins when the Ravens had bad teams for awhile.
So many headaches and heart breaks were caused by accident when Peyton's wife was casually chatting with Rey Lewis.
He said he built a whole room just for film
Hall of Famers are not the same 💪🏾💯
Redemption, redemption, redemption. Mr Lewis is one of the great stories in professional sports. What a legend.
Him and Luke Kuechly were the best inside backers of the 2000s. The ability to call out the plays and the ability to track the ball to the finish was amazing to watch.
Patrick willis???
Patrick Willis
@@marcusreed5862 Patrick Willis is another Inside backer I would put in that category too. I left him out due to the fact he was in the era of Ray and Luke. But yes, Patrick in another that was an absolute beast in terms of reading a defense and chasing the ball around.
Urlacher was nasty too.
luke came in 12 he was a part the tens it was Urlacher an Rey during the 2000s ! Then Pat Luke an Bobby. Pat was late in the 2000s so ill put him in the tens
Attention to detail. R. Lewis is a legend for a reason.
It’s no accident that Ray was so great.
Football truly is a game of chess. Studying your opponents
This is what separates legends from hall of famers
What's the difference between a HOF and a legend🧐🤔
@@wavycrockett4261 u got legends like Ocho Cinco but he aint a hall a famer
Peyton is a legend. Mahomes if a hof.
Ray Lewis the legend. Always feel inspired listening to him speak.
This is a good life lesson. The greats put in the work.
I could sit and listen to this type of detail for hours
I love the competitive spirit of Ray Lewis and Peyton Manning! 👏🏽
Much respect for their preparation and application! 👏🏽 respect 😎 🙏🏽 🫡
We need this man as a head coach or a defensive coordinator in the league right now someone to teach these dudes how to have passion for the game and love to see a head coach that was born in the same town as me
People who are this obsessed usually can handle players that aren't like them
Nahhhh... He'd have a heart attack dealing with today's children. He's too old school
@@ralphpal 💯, guys like him have a hard time being around someone who isn't as committed as he is.
The Greats have a hard time coaching, the level of effort they expect is hard for most players to understand.
even though I was not very gifted athletically in my high school days, this is probably yet another reason why I did not go play anywhere for college, even a crappy little d3 school lol. I did not know the game like that! And as a stupid teenager unfortunately I was totally ignorant to such a realization, regardless.
No matter how much film you watch not everybody can comprehend what they see like Ray Lewis can.
That kind of passion is missing in today's game. Thank you Sugar Ray
This is an amazing segment to watch.
“If you can count to one two three...” (and process hundreds of permutations of choices while actually triggering your muscle memory to react in a split second)
Lmaooo exactly
It’s not really that difficult lol… master your craft… let it become natural instinct. At a certain point you won’t need to process. You just do. Maybe one day you’ll achieve that greatness in your craft with a new mindset.
@@bigstamos6984 but it is hard. And that's why we praise folks like Ray Lewis who have put in the hard work, both mentally and physically so we can see the incredible results. Nothing wrong with things being hard, even if it's something you're passionate about.
@@bigstamos6984 you don’t really know what you’re talking about lol
@@friendswitdadealer It isn't hard, the discipline to be consistent is hard. But once you achieve it, it actually is much easier to re-create. Ray lewis was under-sized at his position. Only being 5'11''. edit: put in the time. concentrated effort equals results.
It also helps if you have Ed Reed behind you.
Yes. Ed Reed lived in the film room
And Ngata in front of you
I remember ray lewis came to my neighbors house and I got a autographed picture of the team I wish I still had it 😓
The study it takes to know what route a WR is gonna run depending on if he has the left or right leg first on the LOS! Just crazy and tells you why Ray & Ed was so dominant in that defense!
So good. Great clip
It’s a shame that most middle linebackers can’t count to 3
Peyton was the greatest QB and really pushed the limits of the position
He was so far ahead of the game it was insane
I’d say Unitas was the greatest. Manning was great and underrated, unfortunately he was a choker
@@BRockin25Peyton wasn’t as clutch as Brady, but he’s far from a choker. There were a ton of playoff games that I saw my Colts lose where Peyton did more than enough to win the game and the defense and/or special teams sold.
That back all tore up😂😂😂
This is Great Content ❤
Ray doesn’t get enough respect for his intelligence. His toughness, strength, and athleticism were almost second to none. However, his football IQ was off the charts.
Would be interesting to see ray as a part of a coaching set up or defensive coordinator..
yea, im surprised this guy hasnt made any effort to insert himself into the NFL coaching scene. Ive gotta think Ray Ray has plenty to offer
This the sort of preparation that I love!
A creative knowledge hungry mind, is what separates superior athletes, from focused, intensely disciplined students of the game!
Ray would make an amazing DC or HC!
I hope he does it!
One of the greatest to play the game💯
I would love to hear Ray Lewis and Luke Kuechly talk about reading offenses. That may just blow my mind.
Every great player needs a foil, someone to motivate them to work even harder to beat them. Ray had the great QBs he had to play just about every season, if not one, then both of them, and probably at least one of them in the playoffs. Peyton and Tom had defensive guys like Ray that you had to account for on every snap, and had to work even harder to fool. It's a team game, but it's amazing how one guy in an important position working his butt off to study can mean the difference between winning and losing, especially in a league that seeks parity. Talent got you to the Show, but hard work will keep you there and get you to the championship level.
Hell yea here for Ray!
Completely agree with Ray Lewis. In order to be an effective player you need work ethic and to study who your playing against. Likes and dislikes in terms of how you play against them.
Wow! There is no substitute for doing your homework.
Imagine if the Ravens had a manning or Brady during Ray's career. The Pats would of not been a dynasty.
well... we'll always wonder, that's for sure
Greatness is built! 🔥

Ray Lewis is just so extra. ♥️ him though.

We just gonna act like he didn’t call him “bitch” lmao 1:45
He said back hand. You think he called Peyton a bitch?!
Ray you need to give your knowledge to the ravens locker room offense and defense
Lewis and the Ravens always got the best of Brady, but Manning always seemed one step ahead of him.
Manning was a better QB
@@BRockin25if Peyton Manning is the better QB. Why does Peyton Manning have nine first-round losses in the playoffs? Peyton has a 14-13 playoff record. Peyton Manning had 55 touchdowns in 2013 and lost to the Seahawks 43-8 in the Superbowl. In the four super bowls Peyton Manning played in he had three touchdowns five interceptions and 4 fumbles.
Manning’s owner was Irsay, Brady’s owner was Robert Kraft. Keep thinking NFL games are decided on the field at the highest level. Brady was a 6th round pick and Manning was #1 overall for a reason.
Mannnn that’s why I will always love #52…he read a lot of QBS he knew the game I damn missed watching him play….ANYBODY TOUCHES THE 🏈 THEY GET KNOCKED OUT……miss u by ray
Love that shirt!
Lol he slipped and called him “B!+ch” 🤣🤣🤣
Actually he said
He built a room in his house to study tape.
Not ONLY PEYTON MANNING
Peyton is the Goat, dont hate
Ray Lewis studied like an all time great QB which is why he was an all time great LB for 17 years. Guys that get buy on pure athleticism last maybe half that long. The long time greats are chess masters.
Ray was beast! And as a Manning and Brady fan, it made for great football. NFL today is similar to old college football…lots of spread formations, lots of high score games.
I'm a Cowboys fan, I loved Tom Brady. I'm a Cowboys fan, I loved Peyton Manning. I'm a Cowboys fan, I loved Ray Lewis. I'm a Cowboys fan, I loved Barry Sanders. All Love and respect. Thanks for all the great memories!
That level of film study means countless hours of tedious, boring, repetitive study. No wonder so few are willing to put themselves through it.
How he broke down the play shows his elite understanding of the game
Devin Bush needs to spend the off season learning from Ray Lewis
teach him what ? how to murder someone and get away with it ?
Legend (*mic drop*)
Awesome !
Someone please share this to Devin bush
Defenses today are look react - mine was look destroy.
Epic
The goat right here!
I hope Micah Parsons have a sit down with Ray he has potential to be great!!!!
I can't wait to see this man coach
Little click baitish but shows dedication to evolving IQ
That's why he's the leader of the best defense in NFL history....
Ray lewis was the best MLB in the history of NFL. There will be no other Ray Lewis
Best LB EVER.
Roquan Smith and Lamar Jackson needs to study Patrick Mahomes and the KC defense respectively in this same way Ray Lewis did.
This is why he is my all time favorite football 🏈 player 💯💯💯💯
This man so different man.
Ray so passionate about football they should let him be the new John madden
My favorite NFL player of all time. The Great Ray Lewis.

😂😂😂😂 Ray be cutting up 🔪🔪🔪
You see why he was so good.
He paid attention to those details.
Ray Lewis is even scarier than I thought.
One of my favorite players
The fact that Ray has been personally 'coaching' Roquan Smith the past year or so, especially with the way this defense has played this season, should make it abundantly clear just how instinctual the game of football is for Ray Lewis, and how high his football IQ is. He might truly be one of the greatest players of all time due to his mind, and his approach to the game.
that obsession is what separates greats in whatever field they are in!
I see a lot of Roquan Smiths game modeled after ray these days. He flies around and knows where to be
Wow.
I want to hear Ray and Rodgers talk football.
