It's normal. SKU number tell about inventory of a product. It generally used to track products by vendors or retailers. Its a number to specify your product to vendors. If your laptop is missing SKU there no need to panick there must be a Product code that specify your configuration and a serial number that can also tell about your product and warranty. Each component of laptop have SKU if you ever need to find specific hardware there is sku written on it.
