Thank you for showing how to attach the binding. I am making scrappy casserole hot pot pads. Thinking of doing the same binding on my great grandson's scrappy quilt as well. I subbed and hope you post more videos.
Thanks for your comment, we're so glad it was helpful to you! We love the look of scrappy binding, it's so colorful and fun. We do have plans for more videos, so stay tuned! :)
I really like how you put the shapes and colors together. I still consider myself a newbie. I don't have much scraps yet, but I was wondering how it would work I you didn't cut them down to the 10×10 or the 10×16, instead making one piece big enough that once you were done, then cut them to the size you are going for. Then there wouldn't be cutting a small piece off and saving it to go in another block. Would this save from working with tiny pieces?
Yes that would absolutely work! You can just keep adding in any direction until it’s the size you want, and then cut and trim it to fit your project. Have fun with it! 🌷
Nope, you can mix fabrics, just be careful if some shrink more than others. We don't usually pre-wash our fabrics, but if there's a big difference in the rate of shrinkage you might want to. 🌷
This video opened up a whole new world for me. Very nicely done!
Thank you! We’re happy you enjoyed it! 🌷

That’s a really different thought, I might consider that option!!! ❤️😀
Do you have to use all the same kind of fabric? All cotton, etc?
