I've got an OG MPC One, which I've hacked WiFi capabilities to. There's a particular IKEA laptop stand which is perfectly dimensioned for the MPC One, and I've built things into it like a USB hub and a cheap ethernet to WiFi adaptor. I'm also running the modded firmware which gives me access to the filesystem from my PC through the network, and that's great for quickly moving samples around 😊
I fired up the One+ and it told me there was an update. I said Do It, and boom it was done. I didn't care much for the WiFi until that happened. Also it's my first MPC and I LOVE it. I want to put a skin on it, but that red...

My last MPC ONE update I did a few month ago - I plugged in the Ethernet cable out of my MPC directly to my Wi-Fi router & the update popped up almost immediately on my MPC. Super easy & no need to use the SD card to update 👍🏼
You can’t compare load time if you don’t run the latest version on both… and despite the marketing the cpu is the same. Your hard drive is full that’s why it takes time to boot actually…
I have both. The Mpc One weighs a little more. The Mpc One Plus is a little faster. Nothing noticeable, but because I have both I notice the subtleness. Both are fantastic. You'll be happy with either one. 😁👍
Not sure about the processor speed the difference is wifi. Still the same operating system. If that means something to you go for it. Love my original MPC One.
I recently bought a mpc one + and im expierencing issues with the firmware ( btw internal storage is empty ) when im chopping samples it and im done , all kinda chops are on the grid. When im recording sometimes things dissapear from the grid , i can still hear it but cant adjust or remove it. Wish there was a way to hard reset it , not just preferences

The one plus may have a faster ssd and then it might have an 8 core processor

It would be the same on both of them.
The mpc one plus has the same processor as the X that’s why it’s faster.
