Ugh I wish honestly that I could afford to keep going to my PHP group. I know it’s only technically supposed to be temporary but I was in the program for... Numerous months, and it was the best thing for me. Obviously my service dog helps tremendously but I benefitted far more from group therapy and having the routine and the comaraderie than I did from individual therapy with my LCSW who prescribed my dog for me. It was so insanely expensive and my insurance guarantor wasn’t being responsible about payments to top that off so the program had to tell me to go. But I wish I could go back and keep doing that program. It was amazing and I miss it so much. Although I will say since getting my service dog I’ve had significantly less instances of self-injury thanks to her disruptions and distractions. But yeah and seeing you talking about your program kinda made me think about the one I was in and how great and beneficial it was. The only thing about it that definitely makes me hesitant aside from the expense/my guarantor (for those wondering a guarantor is the primary holder of an insurance you are covered under, such as a parent or spouse) not paying responsibly is that the psychiatrist would require that I take pills and I have tried many medications and all meds do is make my symptoms worse. I have far more severe depression and anxiety and mania and flashbacks on medications than I do without them and they’re already pretty bad without the meds obviously given I’m disabled with a service dog 😅 If I could maybe do the program minus medications (and with a cheaper price tag not similar to putting children through daycare every day) I would for sure sign up because it was great for me. Anyway there’s my unsolicited sharing session for the day (:
Thank you so much for sharing, I'm so sorry you can't go :( but I really wish you the best and I hope something will work out at the right time so you can go again!

Louie The service cat there is no such thing as a service cat.. the ada covered service horses and service dogs. Do you mean ESA?
@@cupstudios3788 In Canada service cats are allowed!
And of course id meet up with you!! I'm in Ohio so not super far from the border 💕
People don’t understand that if you feed your service dog food and they beg for more you did something wrong
Shit list me 🤷
