In this video, I bring you along for a day in my life in London's Canary Wharf. During the day I work in finance, but in the evenings I spend my time going to networking events, studying for the GMAT, and working on this TH-cam channel! I'm so grateful to live the life I live, and am excited to take you all along for the ride!

Worked in both London and New York and love both places. Both places have affluent and noce areas. Just need to avoid the bad areas

Oh dear, you did not have time to crack the strike-day codes! The Underground is usually on strike on different days to the national rail services so you could have returned to Chiswick Park (on top of a grocery store) up until midnight.. One can reach the District Line from Canary Wharf by DLR to Bank then walk to Monument by pedestrian tunnel,, by Jubilee Line to Westminster or by Elizabeth Line to Ealing Broadway and then back to Chiswick Park. There would be an extra 10 minute walk from Chiswick Park.
I appreciate it! At the time of this video I hadn’t navigated the city too much via public transportation, but you’re right, there certainly would have been plenty of options to return home. Thanks for watching!

It also says pm in the vid and you talk about the „last train“ and „evening GMAT session“. But is it actually common to get off that early? I applied for the off-cycle internship starting in Jan. :)
@fameeyys6879 haha yeah just messing with you. My team fortunately doesn’t work as crazy of hours as is standard, plus the summer months for us are traditionally a bit slower. So I was able to head out at a reasonable time on this day.

I hope you learn a lot about the situation in the UK and hopefully you could focus on better understanding of the future bigger projects. Cos after all, this is what secondments is all about. For anybody to hold on tight on issues like this, is harder and harder to find in years to come....

Definitely have set my goal for an M7. Congrats on the 730! Yes, the exam changes in Q4 of this year. That’s the version I plan to take. I actually have a video coming out soon that explains the changes.
