probably musicians think differently but this is the first time someone mentioned my favourite Bowie song Look back in anger from Lodger (1979). It's a masterpiece but I suppose too difficult to listen to for non musicians. If you listen to musicians who worked with Bowie in any period they all say the same about the wierd chords and progression of chords Bowie used. He was a far better writer and musician than most people think. At the time of Blackstar his voice wasn't so strong can you imagine what it was before? All the people who worked with him said he was an outstanding singer and he generally did one take.
