I tried to install this unit on my Shoei J-Cruise 2 using the helmet cradle but found it pushes the inner lining too far out onto the cheek. They should have used a thinner metallic inner clip. Had to use just the 3M attached clip to hold the device, albeit not recommended by Lexin.
How’s the sound quality after all this time? I’m looking to get one since they’re currently only 100 buck right now. I would only listen to music and be using it for gps as well
Quality is still awesome! I am waiting for the latest model to show up in the mail, I’ll have a review and comparison between the two posted early December
They do not come paired, but the pairing process is very easy and listed out in the owners manual. I don’t believe there are firmware updates available for the system
It’s a single button click to turn on the intercom, and another click to hang it up. We aren’t connected unless we chose to be. Any other time, I typically have music and GPS playing from it.
That’s crazy! I’ve had issues with the connection in to the headset from the speakers before because it’s a water resistant seal, you’ve got to press it together fairly hard. are you sure it’s seated all the way?
I agree. I did Call and they did all they sent me replacements but it didn’t make a difference. I was so bummed. I’ll take a look at it and see if I can get a better seal. I’m glad you have a great experience.

How is the comfort and fitment for the speakers inside your Helmet?
I don’t notice them at all. Most helmets now have pockets in them to accommodate for speakers

I have not made an update since then, but I definitely like the g16 more. It’s a little louder, and a little easier to navigate when you’re riding
My speakers are trash I have this exact set up. Can’t hear anything if I go over 50mph.

Did the g16 work better then the at4 pro?
Many similarities, many differences. It’s a little louder, and a little easier to use. But both are great!
