I’m trying to figure out why layering in the beginning is important if it’s all going to be mixed up before starting it. Lol. It looks delicious!! Thanks!! I’m gonna try this soon 👍👍
That's the truth....lol...tired of hearing that crap....its her house... lol..besides you can't see what all they drop behind closed kitchen doors...🤫 at their fancy restaurants. ...
Sweet Kristin, please stop burning your mouth for us. Love you, girl. Your videos are recipes are great. You make me laugh often with your great sense of humor! 😂❤
@@sandylewis8897 Maybe it'd still be easier using a bag! That way we just have to remove bag and be done with the slowcooker without having to wash it.
From one southern gal to another, Good Lord me you and Bridgie could tear a kitchen up, have a blast doing it and make some slap your momma good food. Just love you girls!
My granddaughter loves you. She is 10 and she tries to make everything that you make. She always puts a bow in her hair and uses words like mixi mixi. It is so adorable. Just wanted to let you know that and put a smile on your face. Give Kevin a hug for us.
Tip : if you shred your own cheese, shred it , place it in plastic zip lock bags or vacuum bags, place those bags in a freezer. When you’re in need of cheese, place the bag in the fridge in advance of making a recipe that calls for shredded cheese. I’d place amounts of cheese in bags that I know I’d use for a recipe instead of a ton of cheese in one big bag requiring it to be repeatedly refrozen and thawed. You’ll always have your favorite shredded cheeses on hand to use.
I'm a Sub n watch lots of your pods..even though in my country we don't get Ranch. Biscuit/Pastry tubes ..b/fast sausage +;Velveeta and cheese is sooo expensive can't put sooo much in a dish..but...Love your Presentation.😎
Personally this looks delicious! I don’t use crock pot liners but I don’t judge either as my sister always used them! Thanks Kristen for sharing & putting up with everyone’s bullshit! ❤
Most of the liners are bpa free. I use them for the cleanup convenience, but still end up having to wipe out the pot. Sometimes though, the food gets stuck in the folds and burns.
I make a dish similar to this with bow tie pasta and I add a pound of white meat ground turkey and a pound of lean ground beef. Why the mix? Less fat, but you still get the beefy taste. My husband, the total meat eater never knew the difference and he loved it. Sneaky, but I got the job done. Thanks for the video.😃
This looks delish! Personally..I would be leary of the plastic tho. I would rather use oil or cooking spray to coat the crock before adding ingredients. Also Kristin...I find that incorporating cottage chs will make lasagne more moist if u ever wanna try it. I mix 1/2 cottage chs & 1/2 ricotta chs in food processor to make it smooth.
I mean... cottage cheese is not an Italian food ingredient and no replacement for pure ricotta. Us Italians call that the poor man's recipe. But I'm sure many people will enjoy it.
Let’s layer everything very carefully and then just mix it all up 😂
Yes, I didn’t understand that either
it would be to insure the pasta gets fully cooked. you dont have to but you will have to stir it as you will have parts of the pasta not fully cook
Still doesn't make any sense to layer. Throw it in mix it up enough, pasta will cook. Period.
it got people to comment
Crock pot liners certainly would make cleanup much easier.
What about adding cooked ground meat or Italian sausage?
Look up the crockpot lasagna soup! It's amazing.
@@micheledanjolell3761 Sounds good. tfs
I added Italian sausage. Delicious
I put in both (precooked)ground beef and mild Italian sausage. 🤤
You know how lazy you have to be to not want to wash a simple glass pot?
I’m trying to figure out why layering in the beginning is important if it’s all going to be mixed up before starting it. Lol. It looks delicious!! Thanks!! I’m gonna try this soon 👍👍
I was thinking the same thing!😂
It probably helps you mix it more evenly faster
I literally wondered the same thing
Welcome to youtube !!!!
Its a scam!
Looks good just don’t understand the layers if your gonna mix it
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe to make the video longer? Still looks good though.
Love the crockpot liners. Recipe looks great.
When she doesn’t say anything you know she burnt her entire mouth. Lol. You go girl. Looks absolutely fantastic ❤️❤️❤️
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yesssss!!!!
You all know she had to stop filmimg and grab a cold glass of water, from just burnig her mouth, no matter how good it tasted.
No hamburger meat or anything 🤔
I like using crock pot liners.
I love this dish over a piece of garlic toast....lil green salad....sometimes....
Love that kitty shirt....
thank you!
I personally love using the bags! Life is quite busy, so take advantage of the help!
In before the Michelin star chefs cry about crockpot liners, gloves and cats.

I've never used the liners.....I bet it makes clean up much faster😊 I would definitely add some ground meat, I'm going to try this one - thank you!
you are welcome! they are great it saves so much time!
Spray whole slowcooker with Pam, and the bags are not needed.
@@sandylewis8897 Maybe it'd still be easier using a bag! That way we just have to remove bag and be done with the slowcooker without having to wash it.
I would not eat something out of heated plastic. I would be worried the plastic could leach into the food.
@@sandylewis8897was thinking same. When plastic gets hot it melts
Thank for sharing this recipe
you are so welcome!

Yum! ♥️
I love her presentation and personality. Shes the greatest

Yummy! I’m definitely going to make this! I think I’ll throw in some steam fresh veggies. Thank you so much for sharing!
Exact same thought, here.❤️🔥🙏❤️🔥
I think I would’ve just mixed everything in a big bowl first then poured into the crockpot. 🤷♀️
Absolutely delicious 😋 thank you 😊
Looks Awesome!!

Yum! I make domething filar, but instread of the second jar of sauce I put in jar of water. The penne absorbs it and does not change the flavor.

I compulsively want to rinse out the jars with 1/3 to a half cup of water, with it at the same time.
My daughter got some for me now I am going to make your yummy pasta dish 👍🇨🇦😋
Hope you enjoy
Why did she layer the ingredients when she just mixed them all up later?
I was jus Abta comment same exact thing

Why did you bother with layering everything when you stirred it all together in the end ❤.. Yummy...
Crockpot liners are the best invention EVER
You had me at sauce and cheese!
Nice
I wouldn't be without my Crock Pot liners.
I LOVE the !iners.
saves a ton of time!
Why did you do all the layers if you are just going to mix it all together????
I'm making this ASAP.
oh great let me know how it turns out!
I didn't even know crock pot liners existed. I hope to find them online somewhere cuz the stores dont sell them in my area
Most of the liners are bpa free. I use them for the cleanup convenience, but still end up having to wipe out the pot. Sometimes though, the food gets stuck in the folds and burns.
Made this tonight for dinner, adding some small homemade meatballs to it. Big hit!

I live in the south and I even get annoyed with the saying"YA'LL"
The liners are just adding to the massive plastic problem. Reduce the waste and just wash the pot. Looks delish!
Love the liners and use all the time. Everyone quit being so critical.
How’s that paper straw thing working out? 😂
@@hoofhearted1833 Works every bit a good as it did when I was a kid, They are perfect!

Like your cat t-shirt 👕, I use the liners when I cook crockpot.
Basically spaghetti...
Just a different pasta..
Took the long crockpot road to get there 😂
I love your cooking show but I'm allergic to cheese do you have any recipes without cheese in it.
All that cheese is heart cholesterol.
Instant pot would cook it lots faster like in half the time 🙂 get one if you don't have one, you'll love it ❤
Thanks for the tip!

"About this much" "A little bit of this"
Me: Puts away pen & paper 😂
I made this tonight.. Only i used cottage cheese and feta and sprinkled a top layer of cheese then real bacon bits and another layer of cheese
Yum O!
thank you!
I’m going to try this but I think I will add some Italian meatballs to it, just because.
32 "Y'all's" added in. That's one "y'all" every 10.06 seconds. Should taste great!

I mean... cottage cheese is not an Italian food ingredient and no replacement for pure ricotta. Us Italians call that the poor man's recipe. But I'm sure many people will enjoy it.
I used my first liner 25 years ago, and have never looked back.
I use the liners, less clean up.
First, let's waste time layering this recipe. Then let's mix it all together! Everyone just dump and mix!
Why do you do layers if you mix it all together?
Crockpot liners changed my life, no more scrubbing afterwards. I keep 3 different sizes crockpot liners in my pantry. I have 5 crockpots so…….
Trop cute, surtout quand elle goûte à la fin😅
Looks like baked ziti 😀
Sorry I have a question. Your crockpot. Why do you have plastic on it?
It's a crock pot liner. Saves clean up. Wonderful invention.
Love liners
