Ill never understand people who watch cooking videos and then criticize every ding dang thing the poster does. Seriously. She said use your own creativity. She doesn't need to add eggs to the ricotta because, come with me...its not lasagna. And I'm sure Jesus still loves her even though she didn't shake the jar. Here's an idea. Make your own video.
How the pasta came out? I like my pasta well cooked, I was wondering about that🤔she added 1/2 cup of water...is that enough to cook all that pasta? Thank you
I added cottage cheese to the cream cheese/sour cream mix instead of ricotta because it was cheaper. Also half sausage half ground beef because it was on special. For anyone broke like me. lol I love it both ways.❤
We never use our oven. Cook everything in a toaster oven it has convection too so works perfectly! Doesn't heat up hole house and doesn't jack up light bill !! That and a crockpot ur set !!

Beef bouillon or Better than Bouillon is a GREAT ingredient to add to any red sauce dish that many folks aren't aware of. Thanks for spreading the word!
Made this today for dinner. Forgot to push the pasta down so a few were still hard. Quick fix that worked? Pushed them down at the end of cooking so they were covered by the sauce and by the time we were ready to eat, the pasta was perfect. Also, I noticed that as the dish settled, the more flavor it had. Thanks! We enjoyed it 😊
I am definitely going to make this 💖💖👏 Only thing I would change is to add more seasoning ~ basically to the meat as you're cooking it. Otherwise, it's a marvelous recipe 👏👏👏👏👏💖

Your a gem!
This made me hungry. Looks really good. I too would have shaken the water in the jar then poured it into the other jar, shaken it again to get all of the sauce because I'm cheap and want to get every bit of what I pay for. I rinse my jars for recycling so it may as well go into my dish as down the drain. No criticism of the video though, she did a very good job.
That's something I would bring in to make for the crew at work or the next potluck. What a great presentation with all of the layers! ❤ To make that lactose free use LF cream cheese, LF sour cream and then sub in some LF cottage cheese for the ricotta. I usually stick blend the cottage cheese so it is smooth and then you can't tell the difference! I love one pot meals! Thanks for sharing!
I've made a version similar to this called Million Dollar Spaghetti, just an oven-baked version and it's one of my favorites! Also I love her tattoos, I always get mesmerized seeing other people's tattoos!

This looks amazing ❤️ I’m getting the ingredients next payday, I make one with frozen meatballs, sauce let them start in the crock pot, once the sauce and meatballs are bubbling, I add a can of diced tomatoes with the juice, and my pasta, cook it for another hour, it’s super easy, but I like your cheesy element better😊

It looked good while putting it together and when it got finished thankyou for showing us how it’s made really enjoyed watching this video I even saved it to add to my other recipes I’m definitely going to have to make this one for sure🥰🥰🥰🥰

One of my favorite recipes. I love my crock pot. It's just myself and my hubby now so I use a smaller pot now. But this has been one of my favs for years. Never knew it had a name. I always just called it crock pot pasta😂😂
It does not have plastic in it. 😆 Where did you ever hear that? Read the label. They lightly dust it so it doesn't clump together. It's sometimes generically listed as cellulose (no, not sawdust) but sometimes specifically listed as what it is which is potato starch or something similar. It is harmless, but can make a sauce slightly more textured, depending on the recipe

@karenmcdonnell6657,
Thanks for letting us know! This is the comment that I was looking for. Now I’m willing to give it a try.
How the pasta came out? I like my pasta well cooked, I was wondering about that🤔she added 1/2 cup of water...is that enough to cook all that pasta? Thank you
I didn't see her add salt. Were the rest of the ingredients salty enough that you didn't need to add any?

Wow I was gunna sub for cottage as well and leave out the beef and just do sausage 😮😊😅 how long did u cook it for?

Sounds amazing, I may try it your way instead
Glad you found that pasta shape! It's my favorite because it has a great texture and holds sauce really well. Your recipe looks delicious!
I prefer that pasta type as well.
Is there a recipe?
Our oven died and can’t afford a new one right now so my crock pot has been a lifesaver. I’m making peach cobbler right now. This looks delicious!!!
We never use our oven. Cook everything in a toaster oven it has convection too so works perfectly! Doesn't heat up hole house and doesn't jack up light bill !! That and a crockpot ur set !!
Bummer! If you can afford an instant pot, you’ll never need your oven again!
I was in your same predicament a few years ago. I made bread, cakes and muffins in the crockpot. Took a long while but wasn’t too bad.
Have you tried an air fryer? They're fantastic. I use that & convention oven.
Yum, what time shd I be there?!
If it's a crock pot meal, it's good enough for working, mother, wife, ME! 😁 👍 Good job
Ikr..I love my crockpot ❤
And also us seniors! After cooking meals for upteen yrs; I look for easy, no more standing over the stove cooking for hours!
This recipe is wide open for custom made flavorings!! Super good recipe!!!!❤
I love Crockpot recipes, and this is getting made tomorrow night for dinner. Thank you for the share 😊
Same! I love a good crockpot meal
Me, too. Cooking bag, no mess. Or Pam spray.
I have a son who doesn't like any tomato products, so I will use Alfredo Sauce and chicken. Yum
That sounds BOMB!! ESPECIALLY with some spinach, and artichoke!!
That sounds like a great idea!
Great idea !

My son is coming home for a min..😂😂😂and I know he is going to want some homemade meals. Thanks for sharing this quick and easy recipe.
I have never made crockpot meals but there is always room for change thank you for sharing
If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can bake it in the oven at 300F until the pasta is cooked (probably around 2 hours).
Italian sausage cooked in the hamburger gives it more flavors.
I really like making lasagna with beef and pork sausage

Why do you add the cream cheese and sour cream? Would that only apply to making this in the crockpot? I love anything with sauce and ricotta!
I always add beef bouillon to yhe water for added flavor. Looks good.😋
Very often I replace the salt with bouillon, a lot of things get a better flavor with it, especially the veggies
Great tip, thx

I made this for a potluck yesterday. It was VERY popular! Thanks!
Enough for 2 armies, and lots of leftovers which is perfect. Thanks for sharing. Great video.

I'd add Pecorino Romano cheese in with the ricotta.
I always add fresh Parmesan cheese, diced sub dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning and fresh garlic.
Pepper Jack or Ghost cheese....
This has me running to the store for that Philly cream cheese mozzarella to make this!

You should put the lid back on the jar of marinara sauce and give it a good shake then pour into crock pot.
