That's a lot of premade and processed ingredients, easy to make ingredients even. I understand crockpots are to make delicious food without taking the whole day, but a bit of loving effort in the morning will make a world of difference.
On the first recipe.....I cook the taco seasoning in with the meat then mix all this together in a large bowl then add it to the crockpot. It is actually good. Plus i rarely ever cook on high. Most of the time cooking long time on high burns the food. Like in these videos all the slow cooker are cooked on high and you can see the burned food.
I understand convenience and all but there is something to be said about using more wholesome ingredients over easy ingredients especially if you want to cut back the sodium. Also, a bag of potatoes is way cheaper than pre done potatoes and you know exactly what you're putting into your meal. Not trying to criticize, just saying that health and money are a concern for many people. You don't have to use the canned soups either, it's fairly simple to make those from scratch.

I make the smothered pork chops like you do except for I make white rice and put that juice on top. It’s delicious. You can even make an instant mashed potato and pour that juice and pork chop over the top.❤
So, are any of these recipes healthy? With all the condensed soups, potato chips and all, it looks like these would be delicious, but very high in fat and sodium; probably pretty high in calories, too.
I have a few suggestions for the last recipe with the box au gratin potatoes. I used to make those potatoes practically on a weekly basis 20 years ago, but not in the crockpot. They are quickly and easily made on the stovetop. Your package instructions will call for a lot of hot water and little milk...you used a lot of milk and no water. There's also a cheese packet included which you didn't use, so no need to use cheddar cheese soup. You could still add the ham and corn or other veggies. It will be done faster on the stove and the excess milk and cheddar cheese soup could be omitted to save money.

These videos are for people who work a lot or people with a lot of responsibilities. In a pinch. This is not for daily consumption. She even said that these are made to help with time management issues.
I make the smothered pork chops like you do except for I make white rice and put that juice on top. It’s delicious. You can even make an instant mashed potato and pour that juice and pork chop over the top.❤
I want to make the first recipe, looks amazing! How long do I cook it in my crock pot?
3 moons, lol
@shippys2043 LOL, you're probably right!!
Wish she'd answer though.
2 hours
she never says.
Can you use cream of other soup?
Sure. Use what you like. 👍🇺🇸
Do you have a cookbook with all these wonderful recipes!
So, are any of these recipes healthy? With all the condensed soups, potato chips and all, it looks like these would be delicious, but very high in fat and sodium; probably pretty high in calories, too.
Please share your recipes WITH the videos. Nobody has time to rewatch you make the recipe.
Great work. Thank you!
Thanks, for the money saving tip. Justine won't learn from it as she doesn't read comments obviously .😂 We do though.
The whole point for me...crockpot...all in ...no extra making anything😊
I have a bunch of cheddar cheese soup so how perfect for me! 👍🇺🇸
My craockpot is smaller.... Can this be fixed in the instant pot 7?
@@Joy-y5u I don't have an instant pot at all
Cheese soup in a tin and sausage gravy in a tin and granted packed hash brown i would make my own love how quick your dishes are😊😊😊😊😊do you do some vegetarian dishes
I love crockpot meals...dump in.. set it..and forget it! ❤ i would try all of these! I do a lot of low sodium...reduced fat ingredients....cant tell the difference
Mixed in....👍
.
Me too ❤that’s a lot of salt we have to be careful 😋
On the shepherds pie, add 2 cups of brown gravy mix to it. Absolutely delicious.❤
How long do you cook these ....you arent saying
Your video is very good & clear!
Great recipes Justine, i loved shepherd pie too, but I've never made it a crock pot.
I'm so proud of you. You used the spatula to empty the cans instead of shaking it. Thanks for the RECEIPE.
All looks great!!😋
I used to cook like this when the three kids were young, and my husband and I worked. So handy.
Right🫶
How long do we keep the crockpot on high for all these recipes?
What do you do with all of that tasty foods? Thank you for sharing!
Can we ever make a crockpot meal without cans of soup?
Google "cream of.... soup mix". A shelf stable powdered mix. Amazing stuff! Considerably more control over what goes into it.
V8, water, powder mixes, veggies, boullion cubes. Boxes of chicken broths or beef stock, etc……
Make your own if you don't like using the canned. It's quite easy, but does take extra time.
They are look quite nice💌😊
So absolutely delicious! 🤤
Looks easy and good. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
New subscriber here! Love the recipes but it will be really helpful if you give the cooking time for each recipe 🙏💕
Yummy, chemicals and preservatives ladden makeshift dinner.
Thanks for the feedback!
@@justineskitchenthank you for sharing some suggestions. Do you ever make any keto food? I'm trying to find this keto pizza casserole recipe that I misplaced and it is vexing me to not find it. Ty 😊
Thank you for sharing the Crock-Pot shepherd's pie
All that food looks Absolutely amazing
Love all your recipes.Do you have a cookbook
I will say it again, if you don't like the channel or you have advice a letter long, maybe have your own channel if you're so smart.
Why are you so defensive?
@@jannweitman4431: Why are YOU so rude? When you get your own program we’ll all watch it and critique YOU then you can see how it feels. This young lady has feelings too. Be nice or go home!
Thank you Alex. I can’t believe the harsh and rude comments! It seems that some people are only watching to add their negativity and criticism. Of course, we have no idea of their culinary achievements. They carry on like alley cats.
Recipes seem great do you have videos with the end results?? 1st time watcher..Great job
@@alexdimonico9382 obviously you’re anti amendment 1. TH-cam is a public forum. No one has any expectation or right to privacy in public . Why don’t you turn comments off if you’re adverse to hearing what other people have to say? The channel owner has the same option. Careful to not apply your own tone filter to the printed words of others. That’s what’s going on between your ears. I haven’t seen any outright rude or mean comments. Factual statements that some people may interpret as “mean”??? Yes but hey… we live in an “I’m offended by everything “ kind of world now don’t we? Have fun with that.
Just wondering why you don’t rinse of your meat?
Still wondering! Just saying! U know?
They look good
I think my favorite is the first one 😋
I really wish I could eat pork but I’m unable to digest it. It looks good.
So sorry for you. I have an uncle that is allergic to anything beef. I couldn't imagine not being able to eat either one
I haven't eaten pork or beef in 34 years.
@@emmel4fun Do you eat meat? Or use other proteins? Hope you are doing well. 🥰🇺🇸
@@cynthiasanchez6346 I eat chicken breast in smaller quantities, ground turkey, fish, salmon, and shrimp. I also eat beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, nuts, eggs and cheese for proteins. Many times I like to eat plant based meals. I hope you're doing well also.
Ik the feeling 😢 I can't eat meat at all.
Love your videos!
They all looked good 👍 but chop a little soupy😊
With a crockpot, a good rule of thumb to go by is less liquid is always more.
Thank you for the recipe ideas Justine. I like how adaptable they are too! 🤗
You should show what it looks like when it’s finished cooking! 😊
The only problem with these types of recipes, is the sodium. All the prepackaged soups and packets just have ridiculous amounts of salt in them
Ahhh yes- the "dump a bag" cook. Bon appetit.😂
Why don’t you ever say how long to cook on high I’m thinking probably 4-6hrs on high???
Buy a spatula to clean out the cans. Shaking the cans is nuts and shreds your own cheese and avoid the wax coating on the bagged cheese.
First time watching and loved it. My kind of video straight to the point and great recipes.👍
Yum!! I love all thess, going to try them. New subscriber!! I love the crock pot in winter❤❤
Welcome!! Let me know if you try any of these recipes out!☺️
Being over seventy and a male who has cooked since my teens these horrible excuses for recipes make me feel almost depressed.
Then why are you here watching it?
@jolynnehuotte1060 Idiot. I watch to see what's going on. Why else??
The can cheddar cheese almost made me barf
I'm almost 72, and it's fascinating , wonder if they eat it, or promoting stuff...
Then watch an uplifting show about from scratch recipes ! A chef show dearie. ❤
Her recipes are great for families who all work…..
This is the first time ive ever seen your page, it came across my TH-cam feed. I almost stopped watching when you didn't show the end result of each dish. I know you have a lot of subscribers and im sure you delayed the results to make people watch the whole video, but i almost didn't finish watching. You may want to re think that for new potential subscribers. I did enjoy the video, those dishes looked really good.
