Powering the new TVS Apache 160 is a 159.7cc single-cylinder air with oil-cooled engine that produces 16.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14.8 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. It is the most powerful 160cc bike in the segment.

i am newbie to bike, Brought 160 variant 2017 BS4 version , last December. (feel like a sucker after seeing the new launch).
My question might be dumb, but please clarify this. What is the top speed we get in each gear in apache rtr 160.
Say for example, when i am in gear 1, the max speed i see in the odometer is 13 km and then my bike sound changes and i need to shift gear to 2nd.
1st gear - max 12-15 km
2nd gear - max 15 - 20 km
3rd gear - max 30 km
4th gear - max 42
5th - above 42.
is this normal, cos i am seeing video, people get more than 40 in 1st and 2nd gear itself. I don't want to drive fast but what i am looking for is my bike operating normal.
How is the breaking & suspension of this bike, comparison on gixxer, hornet or FZS

@MOTOROIDS the apache 180 ABS is no longer on sale. This was informed to me by TVS authorized center. They say the ABS variant was stopped due to low sales.

suriyavel ayyappan best city ride would be apache 160 4v ,best top end gixxer ,best adventure bike xblade, other than that you can go with ns160, hoda hornet or fz v2.

Still I would choose RTR 180 over this any day. It's new but the RTR180 is much lighter and powerful. It can't stand that bad boy.
