I bought my Maverick sniper 30 from you. I’ll put it against any other gun. I absolutely love it. It’s extremely accurate at super long ranges and has massive power impacts are devastating.❤ thank you so much 🙏
Great to see the Maverick get some screen time!! My Maverick is my favorite rifle. I can learn to tune which helps me understand the basic fundamentals behind how a PCP works. Not that I'm good at it but I'm learning. 2nd reg has always been slow to recover even after servicing by FX USA before they went away. Might be time to look into these new regs that I've been hearing about.
It’s great to see someone finally promoting the Maverick. I really don’t think people realize what a fantastic air rifle this is. I love to see more videos.
I have had my Maverick 22 sniper for 13 months. I have pulled over 30k rounds through it, shooting at almost every single day since I got it. It is a great gun but I also feel it is underrated and underrepresented. I would definitely like to see more Maverick specific videos. I have a stock liner and prefer to shoot 25 or 27 grain H&n slugs while hunting but also have shot a ton of 25.3 grain pellets. I added a 700 CC 300 bar bottle but the rifle is pretty much stock pushing 52 fpe at the muzzle with slugs very easily.
@@TangDynasty1983yes. I asked a few people before I bought the bottle and they said yes it's no problem at all. It's been on there 6 months without any issue.
I agree that the Maverick is a great rifle. I have had mine in set-up and in different calibers and different lengths of barrels and bottle sizes which is as you said is easy to do. With the big plenum it is easy to achieve more power with an heavier hammer weight .And the big difference there between the Maverick and the Impact is how easy it is to replace that weight in the Maverick.
My Maverick is a great shooter. Adjustability is more challenging with the regulator serving two purposes. The hammer adjustment is located under the power wheel, but there's easy access through a hole in the power adjuster. The one weak point on the Maverick is the bottle adapter. Specifically, the aluminum threads. The carbon fiber air bottles come with a steel thread and the aluminum threads on the bottle adapter are easy to strip. Other than that, like you mentioned, the barrels are interchangeable and the same barrels used on the Impact. One other issue is the bipod adapter. I had to purchase an aftermarket adapter so I can use the ARCA rail setup. Overall, it's a keeper. I do like the ease of access to the foster fitting for adding air.
Wildcat mk3 BT just a deferent stock, youTube channel called shooting with Phill, has made a quick tune system for the Maverick, and the wildcat basically turns them into a impact M3. The only adjustment that they don't have is the valve return. No tools needed
Have a Wildcat M3 BT compact. bought from UA. Had a heavy hammer in it for two years, killing thousand of prairie dogs. Took the heavy hammer out for more adjustability. Still shoots just as hard with stock setup. Little over three mags on fill. Also just bought a M4 Compact from UA. Love it....
You can also take off the second regulator and put another Plenum on it change the first regulator to the latest regulator version and have double the size Plenum. No need for the second regulator if you do that.
@ you can purchase the Plenum part from Utah Airguns. Remove the section with the second regulator. Then replace that section with another Plenum. You could also buy the latest version of the regulator from Utah Airguns. Replace the first regulator with the new one that’s it. It will clear the bracket. It will be slightly longer.
@@anthonydefillippis8806exactement,j’ai 2 plénum et le seul régulateur dans l’adaptateur de bouteille et ça fonctionne parfaitement avec une petite mise au point du régulateur.
I have owned a maverick and have a wildcat BT. You are right it’s under rated and for some odd reason highly un desired when compared to the impact. Great guns that are accurate and powerful. I just would like to iterate to new users. These videos always push these slug power kits. Please for the love of god just get your gun stock at first and get familiar with it. You will cause yourself problems otherwise. You might just be surprised that it’s not even necessary 😉
I absolutely agree! I followed the slug hype and went down the that rabbit hole. It was a tuning PITA! It may be the cat’s meow for some but I went back to the simple life with pellets. Slugs just weren’t worth the hassle for me. I found the one pellet that works and stuck with it! Back to happy times!
Have one. Didn’t like it at first, has a few weak links, but I improved on a few parts and it shoots good. Very simple gun. It’s my hunting gun. Care less when it’s banged around and bloody.
imho ... thsi maverick would be a lot more popular if it was easier / more convenient to tune .... and if the mag had a higher capacity .... and if the second reg had its own gauge or the option to install one ... and mags that allowed longer and heavier slugs that can take advantage of the larger plenum and more after market support would be nice ... a great airgun with a lot of potential if fx would get off their a$$ in trying to push the fx impact $$ ...
I have 2 mavericks. A m3 a m4 a panthera hunter compact in .25 and various other pcps. The bottom line is that i wish they were all impacts!!! When you get the tune done on the impacts they will put out tons of power with very little noise thanks to the valve adjuster.
The Impact is a great top of the line gun! We obviously love the Impact but recommend this as a good jumping off point for airguns, and it just might be all you'll ever need depending on your personal needs!
@ Yeah but if I just spent the money on 2 or 3 impacts I would have gotten out cheaper in the end! Lol I sold 2 and still have 9 PCPs in my collection. 5 of them fx’s
I have both maverick and wildcat,my wildcat is my hunting rig, I want my maverick for coyotes and pigs but haven’t had time to dial it in for medium game it has been a 100 yard pellet slinger but no more now its a slugger
Have the maverick vp 600mm barrel with over 50,000 rounds on it at least. Shot pellets and slugs at different power levels.Shooting 27gn H+N's at 1000 fps right now. Puts them through the same hole at 50 yards
The M4 brings you more capabilities than the Maverick but we recommend the Maverick to those who are looking for something in a lower budget and don't care as much about tuning, or the ability to mod their guns due to the lack of aftermarket support compared to the Impact series.
Who here has a Maverick? What's your favorite part about them?

The trigger of the maverick is awesome and better than impact, i LOVE It, the maverick is simple and great gun for the price, i have both

Thanks for the info. So the first reg. is able to handle 300 bar fill pressure?

Thanks for doing a video on the Maverick. If you could do a video on tuning and shooting that would be great cheers 👍🤠🇦🇺

I’ve been using my Maverick Sniper for 2 years now. Very pleased with the performance.
I would love to see more videos of maverick! Please make also video of Airmaks Katran XB HP with 0,7 bottle :))

I'm a simple man. I see an FX Maverick, I hit that like button.

Also bought my maverick at Utah Airguns
Thank you for your support!!
Crazy how just 2 days ago after not shooting for a year I started picking up my Maverick and all of a sudden this video shows up lol

Don’t forget to get extra O-rings in case you damage it taking it off the old section

I HAVE THE MAVERICK VP 22CAL , LET ME TELL YOU ITS ONE DEADLY ACCURATE PCP ONE OF MY FAVORITE AIR RIFLE !!!

I have the maverick in .30 and it's a a very good gin.
I had a Maverick in 30 cal. It was very accurate but not consistent. The POI would shift for no apparent reason.

I make a quick tune system for the maverick/wildcat. Search youtube...."quick tune fx maverick". It's a good system!

They even have an adapter for dual air bottles
Hunting video please
Will do!

Brother, I'm trying to get into the PRS stage.. I shoot everyday. Do you have any suggestions?
Love my sniper in 25, but they do like to leak
Nice....👍super gun 💯😊
El Maverick es muy similar en plataforma al Wildcat BT, que tal es su prestación con respecto al Wildcat? Cual de los 2 es mejor?
Gee great. release this after i just bought the M4... haha

So is the cocking lever reversible like it is on the M4?
How big of ancaliber will it switch 2
❤
The only problem is the regs. I have had nothing but issues with the regs. My opinion.
The BRK GHOST is similar price and possibly better than an impact so why not look beyond the FX range
I swap my maverick to the king saber tactical.. dont like the stock of the maverick
How heavy of slugs and speed do you recommend for the .30
Like that u said Mercedes C class, like the Mercedes S class but cheaper lol...
