This is a very different rendition! Bob singing all sultry at first then rather insistent! 😆 No it's really great! I love his swagger, & harmonica playing too! Bucky gets some great pedal steel sounds with JJ complimenting him with those dramatic long strums (slowest he ever played). Winston is great too! I really enjoyed this! Thanks John Spoor for sharing it! 🙌 Happy weekend to ya! 🤍 : )
Thanks nissi. k😉 RollingStone June 11, 2021: Bob Dylan played over 3,000 shows on the Never Ending Tour and it’s gone through countless iterations since beginning in 1988, but when Rolling Stone asked author and longtime scholar Clinton Heylin to name his favorite period, he instantly went with 1995. “That year was amazing, absolutely amazing,” he said. “The whole year was fascinating in terms of the shifts and changes that he went through.” Some fans may be surprised to hear this opinion, as it was a somewhat of a lost era for Dylan. In 1995, it had been five years since his last LP of original songs (the underwhelming Under the Red Sky), and the closest that he came to mainstream recognition was Hootie and the Blowfish nicking a few lines of “Idiot Wind” in their hit “Only Wanna Be With You.” While his lawyers let loose on Hootie, Dylan hit the road for a 115-date tour, one of the longest of his entire career. @@johnspoor8341 Thanks John I really appreciate you sharing Andy Greene's article excerpt! He's a good RS writer for sure. I have heard a lot of 1995 a d it's true as far as consistently cool. I never left Bob in any phase they all have plenty of amazing gems. 🙌
What would you think AMEER-wp22 of: 'What a wonderful recording John, which was not yet on TH-cam, really enjoying it, thank you, rather than 'do you have any more?'😉
@@johnspoor8341 Ameer is not really into social conventions and we are not so used to people that direct. I have come to know he's not trying to be rude. I just accept him as his own person. 🙌
@@johnspoor8341 Yes... Thank you Its good performance... That is why I thought it worth asking about the other songs... How it offends... I truly cant see. If you dont have them.. You could say that. Its surely understandable... Thank you for your response.
Wow! I’m just keep coming back to 1995… just so great. Thanks for this gem.
