It's hard to believe the grist mill still works after so many years. I think it would be relaxing to watch. This is such a great find.

The mill was so big. Would be awesome to go back in time and see how life was.

Love pioneer villages. Dallas has a really nice. Plus we went to a good one in Lander, Wyoming you’ve got to appreciate how they lived.

We love visiting historic villages. This one looks very well done. It is cool to see they are still using the grist mill and have a craftsman working on accurate projects from the period. Thanks for taking us along!

I live near there. I used to visit often. In the early 1960’s , I was around 4 or 5 , I got lost from my mom at the Grist Mill and a nice man found me and helped me find my mother. I’m 61 now and I have very fond memories of Spring Mill.

Hello from the Spring Mill woodworker. Thanks for the great video. We're so glad you had a good time. By the way, I've heard the coins explained as a wishing well thing and also that in times past at a new couples housewarming folks would put money on the bed as a wish for prosperity for the bride and groom.

Thanks so much! I have heard many talk about your wonderful woodworking skills! 🤗 We appreciate the enlightenment on the coins on the bed as well! We absolutely love historic places!

Great video loved exploring the mill. And we never knew about the moon or moon and stars either. Strange throwing coins on the beds maybe making a wish. 👍🏻 the climbing bear toy from 1860s was proper. Thanks for sharing this great place. 🙏🏻 love the way you guys say Herbs 🤓. Great job. Stay safe and keep Wandering. 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Kim & Watto. ❤️

Love those pioneer villages that show all the history. It is very interesting. Especially like that this one is a working village. That wood working guy with the foot powered wood lathe was really something to see. By the way we did not know that about the moon on the outhouse either...very interesting. Nice video.
