your barn owls are life like. you capture the face and thats not easy but thats what makes it identifiable.i see a lot of barn owls carved but the face always gets lost out of proportion and looks like something mary shelley invented !!!!
im about 5 months into my chainsaw carving that progressed from 15 months of hand carving and dremel carving ive followed your journey. how did you get into your commisioned work how did you put yourself out there.

It took a couple of years of promoting on social media, building a website, which is where a lot of my commissions come from, and doing a few shows and country fairs. .....and doing a fair bit for free at first. Basically people need to see what you can do. If no one knows you exist then you won't get anywhere. You have to show off your skills wherever you can. I'm five years in to it now and just finished my third year as a full time chainsaw artist.
