That Key is also Waterproof, i forgot it in my Pocket and went Swimming, it still works fine.
Yea same, at first it didn’t work and then it started working again
mine got dropped in the bottom of a beer cooler and sat there till we finished our drinks, at which point the ice was melted and it was completely submerged, still works
I heard I can code my electric folding wing mirrors on the e39 to open on a long press of unlock and tuck back away with a long press on the lock button. But whenever I look for a device where I can code that in forums always say it never works. Looking forward to part 2 bro. Keep up the grind out here for us. Much appreciated 👊🏽

Only the door lock cylinder on the e46 is not very sturdy, if you use the cylinder too often with the key, the cylinder will break, the material is not made for it.
I have a bad cylinder and apparently bad door unlock relay/actuator. Im hoping to use the windows down key trick so I can get in without going through the boot.
Love this one. Especially since I have an E46. Looking forward to part two.

Good day BMW Dr. I have an e39 with a Diamond Key, for some reason it will not lock and unlock the doors from the key, I can open the boot, and control the windows going up and down, but it will not allow me to lock and unlock the vehicle by the key, any advice?

Dose this work with the older style key on e39? I’ve done this with my other e39 with diamond key but can’t figure it out with older style key on my 1999 540. And advice?
Press unlock once = drivers door opens
Press twice = all doors open 👍
very annoying .. if you code it , press once all door opens !

I have a 2000 BMW 328i somebody tried to steal it and ripped out the key Warren that goes around the key to pick up the key fob I Trevor having it back around I just put them back on and it work for a minute for about a week and then it just quit do you think it's just the copper coil going around the key it needs to be replaced
Does anyone know if the 2006 zhp 330 ci has an alarm system on it that can cherp when locking and unlocking? How can I tell if I don't have a fob. Car currently has a key with no fob so I was thinking about having one made.

How is the coding done please for BMW X5 2006 ? Same key fob.
I don't know much but nobody answered you. I do know that after 2005 everything is different from 2006 on. So you'll have to look for models that are 2006 and above and I don't know if your X model is an E46. I hope that helps
Why code it as when you turn the key horizontal the boot won't open in traffic even when parked until you use the remote bottom and 2 when the car is moving it auto locks the boot and doors and it won't be opened from the boot button handle
And not sure why your window open half with the key maybe it's just the face-lift the preface will fully open the windows. And all the features are available on the E36 E46 key...
When my bmw e46 316i locked it keeps alarming how to solved that?

Do u just post on here or do you have like a virtual mechanic video chat app or channel you sell for like a one time fee cuz your videos have all been very informative and helpful with my 05 e46 325i american model
And I would honestly pay 4.99-5.99 one time fee to just chat with you about certain bmw problems. I recently got a new diamond key and I need to know how to program it to the car do it'll roll the windows up and down from fob outside the car and some other features. And my back windows are not rolling down and the switches are good and fuses are good and both rear actuators wouldn't go kapoot at the same time. I'm thinking its a new program on the diamond key fob or I did have the battery in the trunk in hooked and I might have hooked it back up to quickly or something idk cuz they worked fine before I unhooked the battery but I got the key fob the same day so idk it could one or the other. And did a dash instrument cluster reset like 19-2 or something and maybe I could've turned the back power windows off somehow by putting in a wrong code. Can you please help me?? & Do u think it's safe to take the battery terminals off and touch the lead terminal on the wires together for so many minutes and this does something to fix your car if your car has the battery in the trunk I guess idk is it a good idea to try? I'm desperate cuz they worked fine until I initialized the new key and replaced the battery and did them at the same time pretty much. It has to be a program code to enter on fob or a trick with resetting the battery idk or maybe a code with the inside window switch idk but I need help and seem to know alot about bmw and it's my first one and it didnt come with a manual so I'll have to buy one at the dealership when I go in for service.

Hey BMW doctor i am in desperate need of your help I recently put in a new motor on 06 525 but for some reason the new motor has a 2A9A code for camshaft sensor. I replaced both camshaft sensors but the same exact code is still there and won’t go away. What would you recommend be done?

BMW Doctor, my diamond key fob for my E53 doesnt work. I've tried putting it in the ignition and trying to reset it but that failed. I tried to recharge the key by going for a long drive and still didn't work. Any ideas?

Ah good thing it only drops the windows halfway since the windows are garbage and notorious for having the mechanisms inside break so that if your windows go all the way down you can no longer get them to go up without sticking a Flathead screwdriver down into the panel with the glass to push it forward so it doesn’t catch on the edge preventing them from going up which is a super fun feature of trash bmw
