yh probably no reason for wallah to use this over a hand cannon, but this is good news as a controller player. especially since this gun is so easy to get
Idk... HG makes it a .67 ttk w\o having to do anything besides have some elevation. Pretty free and it's a faster ttk than target lock which everyone wants on a 450 auto.
As of right now, Origin Story is only 1 vanguard engram per roll. Not sure if this will change in Act2 of the Episode or when it is done completely, but take advantage now while you can if you want one.
All the new ritual weapons only cost 1 engram per focusing, it'll cost the same as the others when a new vanguard weapon drops
That's how focusing should be.

@@naiveveg8447 The Iron Banner focusing is a rip off. 20,000 glimmer on top of the engram cost. It was simple when I had a ton of legendary shards to top of glimmer but those days are gone.
24 perks is insane. I would go for zen/target lock on this. Nothing else looks interesting to me. I still don't know how I ever got a god roll Positive Outlook, it has 24 perk options too.
@@otisdriftwood7094 I've got a Keep Away/Rampage roll and it feels really crispy at Range, that coupled with the Nadir Focus Origin Trait gives it quite a bit of range and always nice to have Rampage for even less Range drop-off
Its really sad how power crept Rampage is now. Like the high ground buff is stronger than 1x rampage and lasts twice as long, even though rampage stacks 3 x i have maybe got 3x rampage once in the crucible whereas high ground is basically vorpal weapon but on everyone all the time.
Make rampage lose only 1 stack when it times out and it's finally unique enough to use.

In PvP maybe but PvE Rampage is still a 33% while High Ground is 25%. Sure High Ground is significantly easier to get rolling but Rampage still beats it out in it's upper ceiling in PvE.
This makes me think what high ground on a machine gun would be like. The gambit MG has it and you should be able to three tap any resil just by being higher. Could be fun.

High ground is being slept on. Easily, the best pvp damage perk in the game.
High ground is top choice, fo sho i wish i had high ground in both perk slots and barrel slot.

There's gonna be a Trace Rifle with High Ground in the upcoming acts. Trace Rifles with damage perks are pretty strong, this one is pretty much free damage just for using the weapon.

Got me one w arrow, ricochet, strategist, high ground and range mw. Dropped a we ran in comp 2nd game I used it. Reminds me of how good positive outlook was when it first came in the loot pool maybe better. The ttk is insane for doing nothing but having the “high ground”

Rolled dynamic sway, eye of the storm, ricochet and polygonal. So smooth, even against khovostov
I’m not sure if you noticed, but while you have “THAT PERK” x3, any kill no matter what elevation you are just keeps refreshing x3. So as long as the first bullet is high ground, you can go wherever as long as you keep it rolling.

DSR and onslaught rocks on that rifle.
of all the new content I was farming this after launch of TFS lol. zen/target lock with nadir on this feels so good. despite its large perk pool its super easy to farm god rolls given its only one engram to focus. Zen higher ground was actually my very first zen roll I played with a bit after launch, I certainly wouldnt choose higher ground over something such as target lock or even rampage as its very situational to proc (if and when it does actually proc)
(my god roll actually has all double perks so can switch between target lock and high ground)

Same. It's still my most used gun in PvP. Power crept by Khvostov, but that's ok. I love this style of auto.
I have this but with fragile focus, swashbuckler, and range masterwork. Max stat of 100 range with FF until my shield breaks and then it drops to 84. With swashbuckler, a melee kill gives me instant 5 stacks and a 33% damage buff. I love this gun 👍

i noticed when i was using timeworn wayfarer on ps5 after the update...high ground was not procing after just shooting them even if i was on higher ground...i used it to go flawless for shaurya's & then after i took it into banner & it was not behaving the same way

Wallah, the Iron Banner AR cooks like stupidly cooks. Although that AR requires you to not move to increase stability + accu which you dont do like ever but ive been able to slap a 1v2/1v3 with no HP bc of its HIGH ASS DMG

I have fullbore, ricochet, zen, snapshot and unfortunately a stability mw since enhanced zen/snap both give +5 stability so I'd prefer range. Thing is super consistent and I'll definitely be dumping some engrams on it once I get 4 resets

I think it's good on OS because it has 32 rounds and it procs decently fast.

I know this is late, but for anyone that stumbles across this comment: you can prestige Zavala, Shaxx, and a few other vendors to increase the chances to get multiple perks in each column. Saving a few engrams until you have prestiged the vendor 3-4 times will drastically increase your chances of getting the perks you want.

Keep Away + High Ground feels stupid good too. Brings it to 100 range with Nadir and feels so good.
But yeah High Ground brings this thing to a 0.67 and arguably probably going to be the most slept on AR this season for PvP considering its the only auto to be able to get High Ground IIRC.
