The new player experience is absolutely horrible. Even people that have played the game for years can get confused easily. Bungie is notorious for just not giving us information about the game.
I think the best part of this is to show "anyone can get into and do good in trials", but the only people you ever see doing this are people that already gods at pvp

You would of have to complete (or enough of it to get) NEW LIGHT experience, it includes a “crucible” “gambit” “vanguard” quest line , it takes you through 3 control then 3 comp

If we make a new character in the final shape are we gonna have to redo all the campaigns again to unlock strand and stasis? Or can we just skip and be final shape ready?

But… you are NOT a new light.. new account is not the same as new light. You have the knowledge to go flawless without trying so hard a new light can’t go flawless solo in 24 hours it’s like 1/10000000000000000000000000000000000 odds against. Not impossible but statistically improbable.

You have to own an expansion to get trials. Bungie put it in to slim down cheaters.
