Fantastic, John! Can you post the specs in the description or add captions as you describe them? I look forward to more videos demonstrating usage. I am completely sold on the latest Monteks and can't wait to pledge for mine.

I have the original B1000 and that Montek unit has been flawless.

Can't wait. I currently have a Pecron E2000LFP, and am planning on picking up the B2000, and probably a Pecron E1500LFP. Whichever one I like the best, I'll get an expansion battery for. I suspect the B2000 will win. Goal is to he able to power a super efficient Midea 8K BTU window AC in my bedroom window, or the fan on my forced hot air furnace, overnight (or most of overnight) in the event of a power outage. For solar backup, I plan on getting a small propane generator. Just want to be able to have a baseline level of comfort in the event of a multi day power outage.

Any word on release date? I see launch has been delayed several times. They must be close if you have one to review.
I signed up on the indigo campaign.
    Thanks

First / second week of November is the target 👍

@off-grid-solutions thanks. I reached out to Montek after. Won't ship until may 2024.
Email was signed Monte. They responded within minutes. With everything I've seen (including reviews w/pics- poor quality build issues) I think I'm gonna choose a different manufacturer.

Shipping in May after a November launch is actually very fast on crowdfunding. Some companies have taken two years . Not sure what you have seen quality wise but this is Monteks Second only product . The original unit , the X1000 had only a 4% fail rate which is outstanding in this field and the new range aims to halve that . Montek is well known as the most rugged unit out there and I can bear witness that the components inside are the highest quality available . Good luck in your search 🙂👍

@off-grid-solutions I mentioned shipping may 2024 not as a negative, but you didn't mention it.
A tech took the x1000 apart and photographed a few concerning quality issues.
I've got nothing against crowdfunding for small start ups. Concerning is that they didn't make enough capital from first product and attract investors for new one.
Launch being delayed several times gives me pause.
The email signed Monte is weird.
I'm just making an informed decision and doing my due diligence.
Not many reviews on the x1000 that are independent from free item. That's another concerning issue.
      Thanks for your replies.

@@BayonetBob nonsense on quality issues .I have a prototype X1000 from the earliest days of the company that still runs perfectly today . I have handled only 3 returns in the whole of theUK for X1000 in two and a half years , Monte the owner of Montek who signed the email with his name by the way is passionate about building the best product he can , always has been 🙂. For a tiny company he has made the most awesome powerpacks . The new range is phenomenal. No he's not as big as Bluetti and Ecoflaw and Jackery . But then again Saab was nowhere near as big as Ford or GM but they made an awesome product . As regards delays in launch . Because he is such a perfectionist he wants to get it right before it goes out . Have you seen what happened at Zendure ? Constant failings and firmware updates because they launched part finished . Same thing happened with the Bluetti eb3a . The big boys are not always the best 🙂
