    Also with rekordbox there’s a way to change the waveforms from Blue To RGB

    Just a tip: you are counting 32 beats since your bpm are set to 87.5, half the speed of a dnb track. To be more clear you should set the tempo to 175 bpm and divide the song into chuncks accordingly.
    Best!

    Thank you for making these videos. I started off as a Tech house DJ (and still play that if it suits the party) but I fell in love with DnB but i've struggled with getting used to mixing it a bit

    Not a big fan of the vertical beat grids that serato introduced. I mean it worked for the time. But anyways great tips

    Great vid again bro. I find some tracks when they load up they are scilent before the waveform starts. If this makes sence, when using the loop to set my cue points on 32 beats. Do i go from the first line on the outside of waveform or the first line wher the wave starts? I seam to be a beat or 2 out when doing my cue points. Hope this makes sence to you any thaughts please

      Much love mate thank you! So not all tracks begin at the start some will have a slight stagger- or like you say silent moment- before they begin. To get around this it’s worth setting a cue point at the start of the track so when you load it in you can just hit your hot cue and will take you to the start and where you want to be. When it comes for where to start from this can depend on the track. No all tracks start in Beat. A.m.c headshot Remix is a good example of this as you hear a riser before the track begins on beat. Hope that helped lad. If not let me know or reach out to me on insta and can try send you a personalised video 👊🏻 (do your best to listen instead of depending on the software as it isn’t always correct, I know it isn’t easy but it will come)

    How would you break a liquid track? is it the same as this?

  • @qkqkmwwien4639
    @qkqkmwwien4639 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was just wondering mate if you’ve done any live sets in a club and if so how have you dealt with using serato rather than rekordbox as cue points don’t save to track on serato and most clubs use rekordbox

    • @qkqkmwwien4639
      @qkqkmwwien4639 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      or cdjs which you cant just plug serato analysed tracks in and they work

    • @MedicineDNB
      @MedicineDNB  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve done 1 however I regularly go to pirate studios to practice on cdjs. I load all my cue points onto my usb beforehand so they are pre set. I use serato to practice and then recordbox in cdjs. All I had done in record box on my laptop was load my tracks with que points on my usb. If unsure how to do this I’ll make a quick video on it. Hope that answers your question ✌🏻- you shouldn’t be losing your cue points on serato once set so am a little confused on that -

    • @MedicineDNB
      @MedicineDNB  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dewi Ronan DDJ 400 are great decks so good choice! It depends on what software you use. In terms of recording were you intending on using serato or record box? Don’t worry is very straight forward to record on both
