Nice video. I went up there with a mate in the late 70s but only for a few hundred yards before we realised that our torches were inadequate for the job. Would love to go up again though
First!!! lol, sorry, couldn't resist. You can clearly see the different ages of the culvert, with the more interesting older stone work. Always find those huge chambers excessive, that first one you got too looked very modern, more like an access shaft. Wow, impressive echo when he hit that manhole cover!! Nice how in the older section, they provided a hand rail for the steps lol Wow, that one where you lift the 'gate', the curved brick, amazing.
Hey antonio 4:33 This drain here runs on from there for about 1km, it runs along the railway, im guessing as a railway drainage system then up between houses before it ends
stumbled across this by accident looking for music production stuff lol but couldn't stop watching, I'm from Sheffield 8 but can't work out where you entered, exited or the route you took? Fascinating stuff guys
I watch his stuff,,great guy. Knows the history of Manchester and it’s surrounding areas,,,and of its mills that used the banks of of rivers that ran and still do be it underground now.
