Pretty soon, you’ll be able to listen to every song ever recorded, by any artist of your choice, living or dead, with just a tap of your finger. Welcome to the future.
not rlly with "Just a tap of your finger", at least not that soon imo. but yeah, AI will inevitably take over in certain areas of society. stupid in a way, if you ask me lol
In her song "living legend" she mentions Sin-é, a music venue in New York City that launched the careers of many musicians in the 90s. Buckley's first release was live at Sin-é. I don't know, maybe I'm daydreaming too much but knowing that she loves musicians like Kurt Cobain or Elliott Smith make me think that she also appreciates Buckley's works.
@@celina5076 that’s not his song though :( his was a cover too. But I’ve noticed a lot of covers he did/way of writing is similar to Lana’s so I don’t doubt she takes some inspo from him. Both were just unapologetically themselves.
it is, i enjoy this cover but you need to admit it's not the same as if a human would have put emotion and actually sung it, took breathes, if a human drew the art thumbnail... like for god's sake lana has 4 fingers
@sugarpansies Eventually, AI will advance to the point where it matches human intelligence, possessing the same sentient and emotional thought processes. However, it will perform its functions with 100 times the efficiency. At that stage, one could argue that AI will be indistinguishable from humans-only faster and more adept at creating art, free from human limitations. Given enough time, that may be the only difference between AI and humans.
Leonard Cohen's version is wildly different including the verses. This is Jeff Buckley's version, hence appropriately titled. Isn't it annoying when someone says they're gonna do Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, and then they do Jeff's version?
If u haven't heard kd lang's cover, it is most worthy of checking out, especially her live at the Juno Awards version (it's here on YT). Too OTT for me, but LC Himself was there, and told his partner (I blv it was Jennifer Warnes @ the time, but I cld b wrong abt that) they cld now retire the song; lang's was "the definitive version."

Can you do Wild horses by the sundays covered by Taylor Swift?
This is so strange that she didn't cover this song - this fits her vibe so well... Its like made for her to sing it!!
I think she actually did it but the question is would it ever be on of the leaked songs out of numerous others unreleased tracks.
It is natural to expect this from a woman who romanticizes pedophilia
I agree tbh considering she’s referenced this song so many times and it’s one of her favourite songs and artists

@@lovebugkittiedo you recommend that series?
I’m honestly surprised she hasn’t covered any Jeff Buckley. He was gone too soon. They would have made an amazing collab by now
i guess you could count "the other woman"

People who say AI is stealing the heart and soul from music and art doesn't understand how powerful AI is. The world will never be the same
Ai is trash it has no soul......
