I absolutely love your TH-cam videos. I'm still learning this art of wire working and I've got to learn so much more. Thank you from my heart! You are very creative. One day I'll be able to get the Tronex tools.
Oo fantastic!! I find the tronex tools last, so although they’re expensive at the start, you don’t have to buy any more. I’ve had mine about 8 years and still going strong. The cheap ones I was buying every couple of weeks, so that would have cost a fortune. You won’t be disappointed, have fun ❤️
Just finished up my version from this tutorial. I didn't have square wire so couldn't do the twists. Did a few subtly different things to end the wires. Will order square and give that version a go. Nice job Kelly. Now I need to go buy a paid version to show my thanks....I try to balance it out that way...
Thank you so much! Yes it makes sense. Do you have a specific grade you use the most? Or that you prefer to start with? I use pretty light grade files for filing my natural nails, and some of those have the file, buffer, smooth, shine sides. I have one file that is harder..i feel like one side is slightly harder, but both sides are pretty rough. So thinking that might be a good one to try. Personally it is a bit too rough for my natural nails (all nails are created different) unless you want to file off a bunch quickly. If i use it, I always have to use a finer one to smooth it out or it leaves knicks in my nails. Such a cool tip tho! Thank you! I'm new to wrapping but Ive been doing a lot of your tutorials. Thank you so much! So kind of you to share your skills with us that want to learn. You do an amazing job!
Oh thank you so much, yes 👍 use what ever you think is best, for nails I use quite soft files and a crystal nail file (the Leighton Denny one) for copper I tend to use old files and cheap ones from the pound shop. Thanks again, have fun ❤️
Hi! Ive seen you use some sort of file to help smooth out when your wire gets mared. I thought you called it a nail file. Can you please tell me what brand and type it is? Im new to this and sometimes have issues getting knicks in the wire. I need to try some nylon pliers. You work is amazing and your tutorials are great! Im really excited to try one of them. Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh I use a nail file or a buffer, you know the thick ones with the different grades on, anything, as cheap as you like, buff it gently, if you need to go to a harder grit to get the marks out, do that, but then use the lighter ones to get the shine back, so go though all the grades until the smoothest one polishes it… does that make sense. I get them cheap from the supermarket or pound shop. Have fun ❤️
Good morning I have 2 questions if I may, 1. Where or how do you come up with the names for your pieces? 2. How do come up with the length of wire you will need for a stone? Thank you in advance
The names, I go around making notes of beautiful name and write them in my phone for the next tutorial 😅The wire lengths is just guess work, sometimes I’m not sure how the pendant will turn out so I do get it wrong sometimes 😊 Thank you for asking, I hope I’ve answered your questions ❤️
Thank you, jewelry guru! ❤
