The problem with Bleu de Chanel EDP and Parfum is that after hour 2 they turn into a powdery bomb mess on your skin. It's like clockwork. Like a powdery disaster took a powdery crap on your skin. Dense concentrated spoiled baby powder. I tested multiple times on skin, fabric, and paper. The problem is that we have a bunch of dilettantes hyping it up.
I have both. Y EDP is sweeter, playful and more attention grabbing hence gets more compliments. BdC on the other hand is understated elegance, absolute class!

I love Y, it’s totally my scent when I’m going to be out and about on a summer night from bar to bar. However, I just got my first bottle of BDC and it’s lovely. It’s Much more lighter than Y, I would totally wear indoors like a night at the casino, I got compliments in the first hour! I have them both...plus the parfum blue channel. I do like the parfum even more than the edp. This is a tough one I like them both. So the edp blue chanel and Y are tied but the parfum blue chanel is the winner for me.

Guys, try ysl y live intense. Compared to edp, it is fresher, less sweet, and plays with notes. For me y edp is monotonous, as it starts with apple juice and juniper, and remains until the end.
If it’s your signature scent it can make sense, but to us the Parfum is more of a skin scent, date night vibe compared to the edt or edp. It sits close the body and doesn’t project much. While it smells good, it’s also a lot more expensive for more of a special occasion type of scent that arguably doesn’t smell better than its other versions. So I say, if you only wear BDC and need a date night version of it, it’s a good pick up. Otherwise if you wear many things, I would explore some new options as you already have the EDP

One thing I notice when I apply Sauvage edt, I only smell it initially (then maybe minutes later i do not smell it all) but my colleagues smell it all day and love it, they smell it quite far away. Do you notice that too with Sauvage. Sauvage is my wife’s favorite scent.

Another great vid my Bros. I've BDC EDP, EDT and Parfum. BDC is king of blue frags to me, like it way more than YSL Y EDP, Sauvage. I've Elysium Colone too but BDC is so easy to wear, so class yet so sexy!!! 👌👌
Bleu wins out on scent by a tiny bit. However it's projection and longevity is poor. Y is a great scent. A smidge less than bleu for scent but performance is superior so it wins.
I have both edps of both of these Chanel is dummy strong and lemony I’m waiting on my YSL to get here next week but I don’t think they’re close scents at all
It’s an anytime type of fragrance but honestly I would wear something else that’s fresher on a hot summer day. Like you could wear this. But something like light blue intense or Dior Homme cologne will be better suited for the high heat.
It’s funny, I remember years ago the first time I went to Macy’s to “check out blue fragrances” I literally couldn’t tell them apart. Now, years later I don’t think any of them smell the same😂

Lo Smit honestly pretty equal. I feel like with BDC you will always get a steady stream of compliments. With Y, sometimes the stream is flowing more slowly than you’ll get that crazy big splash.

Both have been featured quite a bit on the channel. Though will probably never do a 1v1 video with them as they are pretty different from each other. But each of them have both been tested in many many video with the ladies :)

This is the first thing I've ever seen where YSL Y did not come out the top on literally almost every round I’ve seen like dozens of videos worldwide came out the topic Sauvage, BDC, ADG Purfumo, and Aventus. Seriously YSL Y usually obliterates the competition. Like for example out of 10 people asked the worst I've seen it do was 7 to 3, so this is close to that. Like when it was like 15 people asked the worst was like 11-4. It even won by a massively long shot when they did it(in a video) agaisnt all the ones I mentioned(except Aventus).
BDC EDP is an overall better fragrance in my opinion. However, the price difference, performance, and the similarities may have people leaning towards Y edp. May pickup BDC in the very near future. Nice video!
This was the best video to see how comparable the two scents are to each other. One of my best friends wears YSL EDP, and I love it, but don’t want to wear the exact same cologne as him. Been looking for something similar tho. Now I have my answer. Bleu De Channel will be my next purchase. Tried Eros EDP, but the performance is bad.

Also, I own all 3 and think each one of them is better than Y edp from a smell perspective, especially the parfum which is just amazing for a designer sent. However, Y has much better longevity than all 3 for me.

Is Bleu de Chanel worth it in 2022? I have about 40/100 ml of my EDT and am debating getting the EDP when mines empty, or skipping it all together.
You have the edt. You can skip it at this point. No reason to pick up another bottle in 2022 when you have a lot left.

The drydown is in the video. And you can spray at any distance, the perfumer alcohol will be same no matter if it’s 1 inch or 10 feet

Both are good, but I give the nod to BDC.
Also, I own all 3 and think each one of them is better than Y edp from a smell perspective, especially the parfum which is just amazing for a designer sent. However, Y has much better longevity than all 3 for me.
You wasted lots of sprays for having all the participant seprately, maybe because they dont effect each others idea, and this is comes from your preciseness, thumbs up

I have to say that I really love bleu de channel edp wow amazing and as usual it is hell compliment God.
Y is okay, but a future scent of 'Basic Bitch'.
