I think being warm, middle of the day, and a casual setting makes YSL perfect choice. The setting you're in usually changes girls reactions. Good video.
This perfume battle is quite interesting to watch, and I totally agree that these perfumes are the best selling blue fragrances on the market. My favorite is definitely DYLAN BLUE

Just wanted to comment that I thought the editing in this video was fantastic! When you said "let's try this transition", I think you absolutely nailed the cuts into the next clip, and you synced the editing to the music quite well also. Great work!

I like the realism of your public reactions. I mean, it's obvious that everyone has different tastes so it reflects in your video. You can clearly see that the girls are not strongly picking one above all the others but depending on their vibe they will chose a different one.

yup I totally agree, worth to have both in the collection. Y EDP is the blue fragrance for casual situations and BDC is the blue fragrance for the more professional and dress-up events. I love Dylan Blue and Sauvage as well though.

D&G the one will win easily, CH men prive is too spicy and leathery girls hate that, la nuit de l'homme is too subjective you will get some that love it and hate it. D&G is safe everyone loves that so it wins, then YSL 2nd and ch prive last

First of all I want to say that I really appreciate you going out of your comfortzone to give us some ladies reactions!!
But I don't understand why Dylan Blue is supposed to be youthful. The opening is wonderful, but as it dries down it's more of a fragrance that I think would work great on men in their 40s or up
dylan blue is hyper masculine, it's musk/wood/incense definitely not young scent
they did dylan blue absolutly dirty its one of my favorite fragrances
You're not awkward, just be a little respectful while joking. Other than that all good, would love to see more of these from you specifically! Very professional approach, you give them time to choose, and ask them to describe it without "planting" ideas in their head. Last tip: ask them to rate it BEFORE revealing the name to avoid bias. In fact ask them to describe each in their own words and rate all of them. This is a really really good way to gauge a fragrance without smelling it. It's like... kinda mind opening than using professional fragrance language, gives a good diversity of opinions. These videos are the best! Plz do more, ask more than 8 people, include men as well.

At the risk of being a bit presumptuous, I would suggest that you compare no more than 2 fragrances at a time. Perhaps 3 could be workable. Four was too many, particularly where the fragrances you chose were so similar in profile.

Great concept Omar for this type of video. Best Brand Parfums did this as well on TH-cam. He did Aventus compared to CDNI. You would be surprised what the public picked..wink wink. I have YSL Y EDP, Bleu chanel parfum and Dior Sauvage parfum and exilir. I will go for the Dior Sauvage everytime. I just love the smell and the performance.

Bleu de Chanel is definitely my favourite, I am quite familiar with all of them. House of Chanel is my favourite, Crystal, Coco and No.19 my favs.

Sauvage & B.D.C. were toilette, while the YSL was parfume??? That plays a big difference...non the less, I instantly fell in LOVE with YSL, and while sauvage had to grow on me, I use it the most. BdC, I like if there's more of a crowd and need to stand out and Dylan blue I hardly ever use due to my collection but is still very much worth the buy if it's the only 1 or 2 you'll own👍

Dylan blue is a love it or hate it fragrance. I love it, if I go over 3 sprays it's cloying in the heat or at the gym. Imo it's pretty unique

I own all of them and Y edp is indeed the one I reach for the most... I think my favorite is bdc edp (Such a beautiful scent) but just performance wise and for the day time in general Y is better suited I guess and it’s a little more attention grabbing as well... sauvage just doesn’t fit me in my opinion and to be honest I personally kind of dislike the smell of Dylan blue, just my taste

Sauvage is just too common and Y EDP is the one I like the most, you can even pull it off in special ocasions...
Sauvage EDP is one of my favorites. Obviously Y EDP and BDC EDP are right up there too.
I only like DB as a pillow scent/ and to reflect and contrast the other 3 I like to wear on the skin. Only have it because I received it as a gift, and only keeping because it helps me appreciate how much nicer the other 3 are when I get quite used to them. That said, will not repurchase DB when it runs dry lol

wanted by night is more fruity & fresh than spicebomb, but sharper/more harsh on the nose and girls don't really like it. But girls also think spicebomb is too spicy and girls hate spicy fragrances I don't know why they make spicy fragrances for men no girls like those...Luna rossa carbon smells like a better version of sauvage and eros is nice. If they compete Luna rossa carbon wins easily by a landslide but then eros is 2nd, spicebomb 3rd and wanted by night last
@@GrowingDownUnder fragrance newbie here but I recently bought spicebomb extreme and it it's a very sweet, warm vanilla vibe with some tobacco I don't get much 'spice' from it...it is very very sexy though - I've read that the og spicebomb edt is much spicier (despite the name)
@@jonah9165 spicebomb extreme is vanilla, cinnamon & tobacco but it ends up just smelling like cola and it's overrated. Too many fragrances smell the same as spicebomb extreme like tom ford noir extreme, initio side effect, bvlgari man in black, etc...I'd pick any of those over spicebomb extreme
This is the best way of testing , I would maybe made a little device like a piece of nice wooden holder in the shape of half moon to keep the strips attached and easier to hold plus further apart so the scent’s don’t get mixed In peoples noses .

My guess before watching -- Bleu de Chanel. I own it and Sauvage. I just tried a sample of Dylan Blue after showering at the gym and quite liked it. I've sampled Y on paper strips only and was not hugely impressed. I'll have to try it on skin after seeing this video.
