ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old. I was born in Poland and grew up in the UK. I am married to a wonderful man called Maciej with whom I vlog on a seperate channel (everdaters). I also lived in places such as Paris and Alesund in Norway throughout my life.
Why fragrances? I have always been very sensitive to smells. For example I remember being 6 years old and going on a fishing trip with my family. After catching fish I could smell fish oil on my hands for days but no one believed me. Wherever I lived I always spent hours in my local fragrance shop and get to know many amazing fragrances. Now I am sharing my passion for fragrances on TH-cam. I hope I can bring you value by introducing you to new fragrances and hopefully someday interviewing perfumers and giving you an insight into the perfume industry.

I have a third perfume, so I can personally express a first-person opinion. Yes, they are close, and aim to occupy the same niche in the world of perfumes. I rarely use Bleu De Chanel, not because it is unpleasant, but it is very "quiet", the aroma quickly stays close to the skin, and after only a few hours, only memories remain. As for Dior Sauvage, until recently this was the perfume I received the most compliments from, but last summer Y YSL EDP definitely replaced it. It has a much more modern and contemporary look, is extremely powerful to design, and cannot go unnoticed. These qualities of Y YSL EDP make it easily noticeable and people often compliment and ask what scent I wear. So if at this point, I only have to choose one, it's definitely Y YSL EDP.

got my Y today, owned BDC and SAUVAGE before, definetly love Y the most, scent is very uniQue compared to the other 2, love the apple note, and fruitness combined with sweetness, very good one ! :D :D

Same. I prefer it over the other two. Also love allure homme eau extreme. Smelled basic at first but then grew on my quickly. Then the compliments came in.... wow!

YSL Y edp is crazy! I have 7 niche fragrences from PDM, Creed, and Killian plus all the most popular designers and YSL Y edp is solidly in my top 3.
How is thd dry down of YSL Y EDP and is it a compliment getter from the ladies?
@redhabelbachir5428 Drydown is amazing. The HR lady at my job doesn't like it, but she also doesn't like when I where my Roja Elysium so her opinion doesn't count. Yes, women love it, especially during the first hr or two when the top notes are still present.

I went through a store last month, the girl in there started overwhelming with a lot of fragrances ADG, Dior, Mont Blanc even Bentley, after a couple of seconds she got quiet and serious then she looked at me and said: "¿Do you want your girl to eats you with kisses? If you want her to climb arround your neck and kiss you then you should buy this " - referencing Y EDP by YSL. It was the best sell someone ever made me. I decided to believe in her and bought the fragance, nowadays Y EDP by YSL is my girls fav fragance.
I'd have to go with Bleu de Chanel parfum as well. I have never tried YSL y EDP, but I do have the EDT which I like very much. Great video. Keep up the good work.

Bleu De Chanel EDP is the classiest of all but slightly lacks performance. Also it is good for cooler spring nights and cooler days because of the heavy incense note. Dior Sauvage EDT is good as a casual fragrance but can be worn all year round because of its piercing strength and scent profile. Y EDP is much sweeter than the other 2 and to be honest slightly more juvenile catering to a crowd of below 30 max. Also sweeter notes tend to get more sweeter in high heat and can become cloying so this one's also good for cooler days / nights and should be avoided in high heat.
So which out of the 3 do you recommend for men in their late 20's early 30's during warmer temperature?
Jay Capo I would say Sauvage EDT since it’s the freshest of the 3. Has a couple addicting spice notes . What fragrances do you currently use
I own Y and Sauvage and have tried BDC. I like Y and BDC more than Sauvage but I kept sauvage because my gf loves it.
I find bleu de Chanel edp to have very good performance despite what people say. I love it much more than the other two.

I definitely want bleu de Chanel and YSL Y but mainly YSL Y parfum but definitely want both of them. Not sure on Savage but I'll give it another try I did finally smell it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I do know what the hypes about cuz that smell reminded me of a lot of other guys wearing it around the mall or something like that a couple years ago. It's been a while and I could try it again this time I can buy it. But mainly I don't know why but Bleu de Chanel to me feels like it could be a loner's scent, like I'll do almost everything by myself I'm at work and I do stuff by myself I eat by myself I am in my room by myself all the time I am just overall do stuff by myself and this fragrance could be I go to, I would be confident wearing this fragrance, maybe I can hopefully get a compliment at the college that I work at

Here in Colombia, south America,I live in a hot and humid climate Dior Sauvage is ver popular, amazing proyection but I don't Love it on me.

First time i ever heard someone called Dior Sauvage " soapy " and i must say you are correct. To me it´s just like luxurious soap or detergent. I was a bit disappointed when i first got my bottle. However, it smells clean and fresh but for that price ? Just placed an order for the YSL Y edp and i hope this one is more " perfume " and not as soapy as Dior. Overall, always a plessure to watch your videos.

No, as i´m writing about YSL i think it´s one of the best " blue " fragrances but it shouldn´t be called " blue ". Luxury soapy smell would be better, as you self pointed out.

@@ogkush6800 You´re spot on. That ginger make it a little more uplifting and interesting. One thing that come to my mind, i think Versace Pour Homme, YSL Y edp and Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Intense edp are more similar. The Versace are the basic one and in D&G they added an aquatic note and in YSL they added ginger. If it was like a pizza. Versace is the plain pizza. D&G added anchovy to make it oceanic. YSL added some fruits like pineapple to make it more fresh and uplifting.
I also hate the Versace and that comes from last summer when it was really hot outside. I was driving home and this smell... what is it... and then i remembered. I´m smelling like a wet dog that just got washed with schampoo. Never wore Versace Pour Homme after that.
I started using Dior Sauvage more than 4 yrs back and it was a beast. Still own a bottle. Then came BDC which still rocks my world. Everyday everywhere it is a compliment getter for me. I just can't wait to grab a bottle of YSY Y. This review just got me freaked out.
How many do you spry for blue d3 chanel?
Sauvage does not smell fresh to me. It smells sharp and spicy/dirty with licorice tones in it. It shocked me when I bought it. I thought it was going to smell kinda shower fresh but it’s real heavy and somewhat headache inducing. But that’s just me.

I used to like Bleu De Chanel and GIO Profundo but I've move on to more interesting scents like Naxos and Tuxedo.

I have the three of them but I have Sauvage EDP and Y le Parfum instead. My favourite is Bleu de Chanel EDP, but the others two are up there very close.
I have all 3 and in my opinion the YSL Y smells the best, but is just my opinion.
Bleu de chanel is my go to but got the YSL le parfum as a tester vial recently and it’s also great.

Have all 3 , my favorite is BDC , Sauvage comes a close 2nd , Y is too aromatic for my liking.
BDC for my husband, YSL Y for my 20 yr old son, Dior Sauvage for my 15 yr old.
Nice to hear a fragrance reviewer saying two sprays is enough! I've always found that to be the case with most brands. Not to mention names, but how that other famous reviewer recommends *seven* sprays is beyond me! I'd have a tingly nose and watery eyes all day!
Edit - I've just recently bought the original YSL Y EDT as it had 33% off, but now wish I'd gone for the EDP as the EDT's performance is pretty lame. Four hours max on my skin.

I didn't test YSL one. I have my second bottle of Bleu de Chanel. Unfortunately its duration doesn't last more than four hours.

I'm confused as in one TH-cam video Bleu de Chanel won 12 - 5 against
Dior Savauge out on the streets and then in another video I heard Blue de Chanel loses out to Sauvage when it comes to compliments.
Also hearing the original Bleu de Chanel with Grapefruit is better compared to the edp version.

Sauvage EDP has better longevity and slightly more projection than the EDT and not the other way around. People should stop advertising the EDT as the longest lasting and strongest projecting.

I went to the mall today and tested all three. I don’t know but the blue de chanel sample I got smelled not that good. Idk and I sprayed it it doesn’t smell as good as the edt.
It’s a shame that Bleu De Chanel doesn’t last very long in terms of projection

the sillage of the Bleu de Chanel EdP is weak that's why she didn't answer on your question . If you want the sillage better EDT is the best . 5 -7 sprays of edt and people choking around for example in the bus or little shop .

@@wizpropane Both are amazing, EDT is more for young people, going out, etc, and the EDP is better for the office because it smells a little bit more classy. EDT is more fun and versitile.
