Really like my Tatula 3000 MO LT, have had it for about 3 months and use it almost everyday. I have it paired up with a Tatula Elite AGS 7'4 rod. It even hauled in about a 15 pound carp on 10 pound braid that I was not fishing for.
Might just have different spool sizes depending on the model 3000 you bought. If i remember correctly i think they have a shallower and deeper spool model.
@@MattLunaFishing Yes the 3000-CXH has the "shallow" spool and The D model has the deep spool. It seems like the deeper spool is standard and the only option for all of the other sizes. Either way, you can't really go wrong with these reels.
That’s a great looking spinning reel. I have the Tatula CT bait caster and thoroughly love it. Might have to pick up this reel to match the bait caster in my inventory. What rod would you recommend? Thanks for the info and the video.
The CT is a great reel! This is gonna be a good one too. I had it on a 6th Sense Custom USA spinning rod. That’s a higher end rod. The Lux spinning rod is a cheaper one that’s really good too
I have a Tatula LT and love it. I have 9 LT models and they all have been great. I have no plans on buying any of the MQ series. They are basically not serviceable unless by Daiwa. They will not service a jdm reel in the states. Their magseal already made things difficult. Now they went all in by not only needing special tools, but different special tools for different models. They're just saying they don't value customers, only their dollars. Hard pass. I will buy other makes or the LT series reels.
I think they are very comparable. I’d buy the new one if i were you in case you ever have issues. That way parts may be easier to get. Probably won’t have problems, but better safe then sorry.
I’ve had a couple freak things happen where i needed to replace a spool, stepped on a reel and needed a new reel handle. Was able to get the parts fairly easily.
To me it looks like the bg suits a different purpose. It was designed for saltwater. I’m not too familiar with the bg series overall. From what i understand saltwater specific stuff will be more sealed and water resistant than a freshwater reel. To get the seal and prove point down there may be certain features left out of a saltwater reel at the same price point as a freshwater. That’s just my speculation
@@MattLunaFishing I didn’t /don’t think the BG Series is designed for salt water. It’s a $110 reel and I’m pretty sure the Tatula is more $$$. I use my BG’s for freshwater bass fishing only. Thanks for the reply.
You’re welcome. I looked up the BG and that’s what i saw. I’ll send you the link: omnia.direct/VEAzag and then i also saw this one: omnia.direct/LY973l I see that the BG model has both a freshwater and saltwater option
I haven’t used the BG myself for a direct comparison, but from the looks of it, I’d say yes. The MQ LT is lighter and a higher gear ratio. It also looked like the MQ LT has more features.
Nice review, I’ve been wanting to buy this reel and want to get a good discount, so any idea when the Omnia July code will work? It isn’t working for me yet.
Finally! Been looking for feedback on these, do you have the ballistic MQ? I’d like to know if this would be better for bass fishing than the ballistic MQ due to this not having mag seal which actually would make the Tatula a smoother reel.
I don’t have the ballistic MQ, so I can’t say for sure. I’ve had the older Tatula LT and now this one, and they are both very solid. I think you’d be happy with this reel.
They are supposed to provide washer with your reel handle to Stop the play in the handle so Stop complaining and read your manuals and add the washers and bam oh my gosh Miss Molly moss the handle play is gone 😊

@@MattLunaFishing I think maybe you are looking at the handle shaft connection to the reels main drive shaft? That's fine. paired this reel up with a st croix premier rod and it is AMAZING
I’m not too familiar with the st croix rod but i do love this reel!
It seems like the 3000 size has a shallower spool than the 2500. My Tatula MQ LT3000-CXH holds 160yds of 8lb test and 110yds of 12lb.

Is this Daiwa Tatula MQ LT 2500 model magsealed or not,on most of the sites they do not mention magsealed
I don’t know
The new Tatula MQ LT is not magsealed. The Ballistic MQ LT is magsealed.

the handel have a bolt for change a knob ?
Yes
It threads direct to the drive. No screw/bolt.
Which is better for value? Fuego lt 23' or tatula MQ 23' ?
Hard to say. Haven’t used the Fuego LT. The tatula mq is solid i know that for sure. Often there’s a reason why there’s price differences.
