    Just bought the same light bar during Amazon Prime. I’m going to install tonight, or tomorrow morn, when the temperature goes well below 100 degrees. I’m hoping for the same great results.

    I wired the supplied switch with a feed and a ground. The amber lights flash when you press the switch momentarily downward. I hope this helps.

    just the vid i was looking for!! i have the voswitch switch panel. i was wondering if its possible to chop their switch off and run it to the voswitch BUT still be able to go thru the strobe sequences? i read somewhere that you can not without using a second switch on that panel to use as that momentary switch to toggle the strobes sequencse. do you know? my other option was to do the same as you and keep their switch. im ordering the same light but gonna be on my rhino rack at the rear.... thanks!

    Just bought this light and you’re the first video I’ve seen putting it on a Jeep like I’m about to do. I also have an ApolloIntech. So does this mean that in order for ANY of the lights to work you have to activate the switch to on first?
    Because here’s the set up I wanted to do and now don’t even think it’ll work the way I want...
    Red lights to my brake lights that will activate when I hit the brakes WITHOUT me having to turn the Xprite switch on...
    White light to my rear lights that I’ve already wired to the switch pod. There’s a switch for it already. Essentially just swapping out those rear backup lights I have and replacing it with the lights on the Xprite
    Amber lights which I’ll prob have on its own circuit so I can turn them on and strobe them when needed.
    Point is I don’t want to have to turn the Xprite switch on just to get the red lights to turn on and I don’t want to have to turn the Xprite switch on and then press the backup light switch to turn on my backup lights.
    I know this is long lol hope it makes sense

      Hello, the design as Pre wired has you activate the switch then your brakes/back up etc become active. And as my video shows that is pretty much what I want for my off roading, however there is no reason at all that you can’t change the wiring configuration with a little bit of trial and error and wire the brakes off of your existing brake wiring and your back up light off of the Apollo Intech switch....overall it is an awesome light! I really like it! Best to you, I think you will be very pleased! The flasher lights are incredible! I have been on side of road with hard top glass window open and flasher lights on for emergency..... incredible safety factor there!!👍🏻🇺🇸

      @@reconjeeper0321 thanks man! It might be tough. Looking over it, the way they have it set up is a pos and neg to power the whole thing and then relay wires to activate each. Last question I promise...when you hooked it up, I’m guessing you went straight to battery? Did you add an inline fuse? (Idk if I just missed that on the install)

      @@BaptismOverland no problem? In the video you will notice I also have a switch bank down low in front of my shifter.... happily the Switch that comes with the light fit quite nicely in that switch bank where I already had a fused power source for the other switches that are there.

      @@BaptismOverland I laid the light on my engine and with a jumper figured out exactly what color is what for what light or lights... so in my case although different from what you would like to do... I turn the unit on with supplies switch... then everything is active.... brakes, directional, back up... running lights.... and when you toggle the switch to flashers there are 6 different flashing arrangements that change with each push of the switch.... hold it down for 3 seconds flashers turn off. I see no reason at all why you couldn’t pick the options that you want to control separately...

    • @reconjeeper0321
      @reconjeeper0321  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then... identify the color code for that light... and control it how you see fit.... example.... switch pod.... or other back up lights... etc... I hope this helps you my friend!
      Good luck...
