OKAY! So I am a 40y/o male construction worker. Using a planner isnt exactly an innate skill. I have terrible ADHD. I also have a need to understand things at the most basic level before I can unblock mentally. It's been great so far. Fast forward to being a manager. ARRRGH! You are the very first person I have had explain HOW to decide/categorize things and their importance. Not by deadline or relative emergency level but by a personal importance. Finally I am unblocked and can plan/timebox!! Yay!!!
I only found your channel and am binge watching. I thought that I was proficient with OneNote but I have already learnt sooooo much. Your teaching style is exceptional! You’ve definitely signed up a new subscriber and I’ll let people at work to also check you out as we are always looking for productivity improvement professional development! Great job! I can’t wait to implement many of your suggestions for Onenote in particular (work platform…no choices!) thank you for a great channel.
I would love to see some of this content available as an e-book. It is something I would most definitely purchase. I tend to work better with written content & pictures as I can do things at my own pace. I do enjoy your videos. But I have to pause and rewind a lot to reinforce concepts of what you said 😁

I really loved this! Can't seem to get the template though to open and work in my ONE NOTE. I was able to insert the PDF but it's too small and can't really use the functionality of it.
Excellent video. Thank you. Just a a thought for next time: It sounds like the microphone was placed much closer to you mouth when you went full screen. I would like to hear the same tonality as during your introduction, and that mic placement was excellent.
I agree it's unfortunately not as automated, I recommend you look into project management apps like Clickup, Asana or Airtable, they are amazing when it comes to making the process more automated :)

Thank you so much for sharing your work. I have a never ending battle at year end for how to plan for the next year. I am having trouble linking the template. I have Microsoft 365 and I am trying to do in that as I am setting up all of my work in that. Step 1: I am logged in. Step 2: "open in App". My one note? I am able to do this. Step 3: no issues Step 4: the "move/copy" is shaded and not accessible. So I am stuck.
Never mind. I have to log into my personal microsoft account. I really am frustrated with having a Microsoft 365 account when it conflicts all the time with a regular free version. Ugh! Maybe I just overthink it.
idk its still a little confusing bc how is buy cat food not important but urgent? because you need to get that done and if you didnt the cat would be starving so isnt that important?
I just used it as an example :) but yes, if you have no food left for the cat, it's urgent and important (I buy mine in bulk so planning on buying more in advance can be procrastinated a few days)
Great question! OneNote is a lot more customizable than Evernote, this applies especially if you're a person who prefers seeing everything visually (hence why I use OneNote) because you can drag and drop & organize all your tasks in one page and you have a lot of artistic freedom I feel like. The artistic freedom is also great for people who are very picky and particular about how they want to take notes. My favorite thing is that you can draw over text and pictures. :) Hope this helps!

This is nice.. but do you heard of control a, v, c??? Because you had seletced by selecting tool.. instead of that you can easily use crtl a.. and instead of right click and click on paste., You can use crtl v.. but video was good.. night..🙏🏻

How do I add separate single tasks (so I can drag them after one by one) without writing them by hand?

I like the concept except I was looking for something that ties into Outlook etc. and not so manual. So not a solution for me.

Type instead of writing and flag. These will appear in your outlook task list!
Ive seen a lot of people use a digital planner. Does that mean you dont use your phone calendar anymore for planning or scheduling?
