The Story of the Djuma Dam Cam

- The Djuma dam cam has been a source of wild entertainment from the day it was first switched on at the Djuma Private Game Reserve. Since then the dam cam has undergone many upgrades, repairs and clean ups. Graham Wallington as well as Jurie and Pippa Moolman give us the story of the dam cam.
A big thank you to all who makes this possible. One of the best channels I have found here on youtube. It´s the first in the morning and the last in the evening.

Dam cam has become a much loved part of my life...the sights...sounds....are fantastic...and with new friends from all over the world...we learn from one another...and a big shout out to all the zoomies...who work so hard to enhance the dam cam experience.

I watch almost every day since I found out only this year Shame I lost 20 year of watching beautiful Africa with so much diversity of amazing animals and fauna the great beauty of nature. Thank you for teaching the world how animals live in the wild the struggles for surviving every day and how beautiful and unique each animal is, how loving and precious creatures are with so much love and feeling in their souls. One of the BEST Wildlife Cams I've seen! I have it streaming to my Big TV in the living room for several hours a day!! My 3 Felines & I love watching & listening!! Who needs those video's for kitties when we have the Djuma Dam cam!!! Thank you Graham, Jurie & Pippa for this fantastic look into the African Bush!!

What a marvellous idea. I’m so glad you persisted in your plan despite the doubters. I have since become a loyal devotee and I thank you for the privilege this camera affords, giving those of us who watch an insight into life in the African bushveld.
Djuma dam cam (and the other cameras of Africam) was the reason we had to get the internet connected at home in Sydney back in '99. It's such a splendid camera (and operators) now but I still remember the thrills in the 30 second updates.

A brilliant and beautiful idea. An idea that not only entertains but educates at the same time. And even though I mainly lurk these days, I love the fact that you can chat to others whilst watching. There's many nature live streams that don't allow people to chat let alone leave comments. Apart from the daily view tally and thumbs up how are these other streams going to know how they are tracking if they know allow comments ect? And that's why SafariLive/Djuma Camera Live is/are the Number One TH-cam Nature Channel to watch at the moment.
My wish is for someone one day very soon to set up a camera ( that is environmentally friendly and is very robust ) somewhere in The Great Barrier Reef 24/7 . In the hope that if enough people connect with The Great Barrier Reef and care about it, it may be saved and return to pristine health...... 👍that one is for you Graham Wallington and of course Emily Wallington.
