I love the Boeing 737 Classic because it was the aircraft that took me to the skies for the 1st time at least 16 years ago when i was just a young autism boy.
These videos by Gabriel showcase the great work Regional airlines do by servicing remote and sometimes hostile environments. It is very interesting to see these in operation.
I think Canadian North offers the best in-flight service of any Canadian airline. People rave about Canadian North without a doubt for their great employees, customer service & in-flight experience. Thanks for sharing your experience with us !!
Love ❤ these FR24 videos, and Gabriel’s relaxed style! It’s become my favourite aviation channel, as all videos are interesting, Gabriel comes across as a genuine person and appreciative of the experience! Not like other channels who seem to be pseudo-advertisers for ME airlines or who constantly moan about lounge access!
When I flew to Rankin Inlet from Yellowknife on a Convair on PWA IN 1970 there were ropes to get to the terminal. It was semi socked in and Pilots said they had to land as they depended on freight and mail.
Thanx for the great flight. Pity you didn't get a cockpit shott before you left the aircraft. The oldest B737 I have flown on was the 737 - 200 back in the 1960s and 70s
Just to look out the window and think that there is nobody down there, how wonderful. One day I'll fly over the pole or perhaps from Santiago to Sydney across the great Southern Ocean.
I suggest going for the transpolar flight. I have done the Santiago to Sydney route (in a 747-400) and it is possibly the most boring flight anywhere as it was open ocean all the way as we passed south of New Zealand. The Sydney to Johannesburg flight over the Southern and Indian Oceans was more interesting as we passed a number of sub-Antarctic islands.
@@grahambaker6664 I've flown over the Sahara and the Atlantic but flying over the pole would be something special. The furthest north I've ever been is 71°10'21" but I got there by motorcycle. 🤣
@@welshskies How was North Cape? I will be going a couple of kilometres north of it on a cruise around the Norwegian coast in November. I am not sure I would want to ride a motorcycle to get there though - too cold for me even in summer.
16:38 - Hah.. Shout out to Buffalo Air, they had their own reality TV show, "Ice Pilots NWT", about flying those old DC-3 planes in the North. Also cool that you were there on Canada Day!
THANK YOU. You are just about the only aviation TH-camr that let's us hear the take off rollout and rotation roar of the engines, and for those of us who cannot be on that flight, listening and watching one of THE best parts of flying, is pure joy. And though the background music does get annoying at times, you bring us back to the approach and landing with full on engine roar.🤩
I want to know how you got the video! Even with an escort about two weeks ago I had multiple people on the ramp very firmly telling me no electronics, cameras, or cell phones allowed on the ramp. Cool to see we probably missed each other by just a few days.
Say Hello to my wife's cousin Melissa who is stationed tin Yellowknife with the Canadian Navy. Great flight, enjoyed it as I always do flying with you.
I’m guessing that in editing together 100s of different shots from different stages of the trips, the levels and audio are too choppy and dissonant to make a watchable video. Adding music smoothes over the lumps and bumps.
Really? Very communist in nature. First class seats make many unprofitable airlines profitable. So, I’m sure the taxpayers make up the difference. I wonder which other national airlines don’t gave first class seats. I’m sure it’d be telling.
On your own channel you can use whatever music you like but representing your employer that annoying repetitive so called music makes me want to delete my flight radar 24 app.
Can you explain the relation between the FR24 app and your differences of music taste ? I don't get it. The typical reaction when you don't like the video should be to simply close it... isn't it ?
Great flight to exotic destination, 2 food services, spacious aircraft and a pretty decent looking flight attendant! 10/10 on your video sir.

Not Autist anymore?
Until now, I still have some austim inside me.

Once again, thanks a lot Gabriel!
Thanks a lot, Flightradar24! Well done, beautiful B733 experience!
I just flew on a Scat Air 737-300(with wing tips) three weeks ago from Taraz, Kazakhstan to Almaty, KZ
A lovely trip and what beautiful weather !

Canada North's old livery with the Polar Bear was much cooler...they should bring that one back.
Yes I agree.
i have the crew hat with that livery up for bids 😎
Gorgeous scenery. Thanks for sharing a bit.
Those runway surfaces suffer from the weather up there. Like a jigsaw puzzle. 😊
Love the music
737-300 classic used to be the most over powered variant even few airlines reduced its thrust to maximize its range !
Incredible video man!

Flew a 300 yesterday

Great video ❤…..we work maintenance on these airplanes …the -400/300 and the 700, and we never get to see this side of the operation.
That looks like a warning icon on the winglet..."do not stand in front of wing while aircraft is moving."😄
Bulgaria air still operate their ~3 737-300

Canadian North B737-400Combi, nostalgic too across Canada's North! Canadian North NG B737-700s, also operating across Canada's North!🇨🇦🛬
Very nice
There is a regular 737-300 that is based in TIA that i have seen multiple times

that run used to be 737-200's 👍
Boeing doesnt make them like the 300 anymore
Airbus for me over Boeing not going.😮
Doesn't look like Yellowknife has changed much since I visited in 2013.

Hi
@2:25 - what First Nation language was that? Any ideas?
Inuit language called Inuktitut 😊

Too bad about the “music”, would’ve much preferred to hear the wonderful ambient sounds.
Great video😊...but please cut the music 😒

Great video - shame about the sound track, it doesn't totally inappropriate music.
“Truly first class” uhhhhh no Canadian airline has a first class

@@mr_matcheu I like the premise of the videos...but the music is distracting. I mute the music as best I can without ruining the natural audio.
