    Blue craws in general have been my go to in the tanic dark water in the swamps of south Louisiana for 20+ yrs. Always seems to generate a good amount of strikes when its a tough day

      We have similar color water here in NJ due to water running through cedar swamps and that blue color works great

    It is the check mark tail, claw that males them different. Not sure if it is visual, the sound created by the check marks, but it is a fish catching lure. However, when one claw is missing, the lure is worthless.

    I really miss the sapphire blue berkley pitboss. No idea why they quit making them.

    Never heard of speed craw, just super speed craw or ultravibe speed craw. Is that magnum an ultravibe?

    • @gregchilders7643
      @gregchilders7643 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is the ultravibe speedcraw which is 3in long then the magnum. Imo the 3in speedcraw is the best .good for both size and numbers of fish

      You should try the super speed craw when you need more thump, it’s awesome

      @@shawnmcdonald7765 I use the magnum only in muddy water conditions when I need that thump

    But bass can't see blue. They are dichromatic and see green and red well, but struggle to see blue. They most likely see it as a dark gray or a dark greenish gray. Same is true with the long time favorite black and blue color patterns.

      A bass told you this?

    • @ohyousooners
      @ohyousooners ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joestrummer9507 Why yes, a bass did tell me this. In fact, we had a whole conversation on bass vision. Haha! Actually, just Google it. There's all kinds of published research on the dichromatic vision of bass.

    Most crawls do the same thing.
