not my girly yuna being highlighted for her voice crack in the first episode and then we never heard from her again. she legit has the most interesting look out of all of them. justice for yuna
Not to mention that Ooh-ahh is the only song that had 2 dance breaks (an additional one and an original one) and during the original one, she had to sing during the whole dance break, which other main dancers from other units didn't have to do 😑

i love how u guys described sarang!! a lot of people described her a different way to justify hating on her (saying she looked 12 year old when she's literally 17), so its nice to see an appropriate description of her that still has a similar meaning
As a triple J fan at the time I was really happy with Jungeun and Jiyoon getting picked, and had literally 0 worries about Jeemin not making it. Jeemin had such a gigantic fanbase the only question I had at the time was whether she would be no.1 in save votes or no. 2. I actually remember thinking that her going to the save vote was good because there was no way she was not going to make it, and on top of that it would energize the fanbase for the future too... so weirdly enough I was one of the few crazy Jeemin fans who was happy with her going to the save vote. 😀
In regards to you guys picking Saebi and Sujung as your p01s, i can see why, for I too loved them both. Sujung reminded me of a mini Soyeon of gidle and I kept thinking she was truly special beyond merely what she could do on stage... while Saebi at the time was the prime contender for IT girl from all the trainees... and I say this as an original Jeemin stan... who came to love Saebi as well along the way hehehe.

It’s so funny that you commented on Sarang being “regular” looking because she’s praised a lot for her beauty by cnetz and knetz. But I get what you mean, she has a friendly girl-next-door vibe that totally changes on stage.
She's definitely a visual but she just looks very friendly and approachable I think ❤

The Jiyoon/Jungeun drama was soooooooo dramatic. It was so annoying and awkward to watch lol. On another note, IWALY is such a good song! I hope that you two have watched the "winning" 6 of this challenge on M Countdown live stage. I was so happy for them to get that experience.

18:13 I do have to agree with you guys. I think Jiyoon (and even Lingling) should've taken that main vocal spot from the first place.
Koko and Saebi were my favorites this challenge so you can imagine how i felt watching this episode lol, tho i had faith that no matter who won the other would still make it to part two ❤
The Saebi Koko dilemma was so real. Koko’s been my favorite since episode 1 but Saebi really wrecked me with Panorama and every other performance in part 1, so when they were against each other in this performance I didn’t know who I wanted to win.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared during a survival show than I was voting for Koko to get to part 2. Being in the international fandom for this show, it felt like Koko had almost no fans 😭 especially people who had her as their one pick like me.
I know you’ve probably already watched the part 1 elims. It’s possibly one of the most heartbreaking episodes ever filmed of a survival show, what they did to Yui was horrible.

the thing with jeemin is she joined iland 2 SO quickly after RU next… like if i remember correctly N/a auditions first opened as RU next was airing so girly had ZERO time to heal as opposed to contestants like fuko or yuju

@@janitapegram i definitely don’t fully remember the timeline but i think N/a auditions might’ve closed like a week after the RU next finale 😭😭 i think she either auditioned over that week (which… ouch), sent in her audition during the show as a backup plan (basically impossible), or she got in contact with/was contacted by the show bc they were looking for another “veteran” trainee
@@velvetineThere’s no way that she sent in her audition before the RUNEXT finale. It’s a conflict of interest and she’d probably get sued if she did it.
It’s just MNET wanting anyone from RUNEXT so they probably offered some of the eliminated contestants and JEEMIN accepted it and got in.

I think I really need to watch Street Woman Fighter because I am seriously developing a crush on Monika and I was obsessed with Lip J on boys planet.
in my very humble opinion (pls people don't kill me) jeemin wasn't acting like this because she was traumatized from the previous show, actually i think she was already like this in runext and that is the reason she never managed to fully convince the producers there (and me but i don't matter) despite being introduced as the n°1 trainee and obviously having everything you may want in an idol in terms of skills and appearance (conspiracy theories aside, i'm just judging it as if it was a tv drama)
She did talk about how she felt her picking big roles felt like she was taking them from other people, so she was always reluctant to do so. Tho I think she eventually breaks that habit
@@Kekekekenn i think in general she always felt a bit remissive/shy/unconfident which made it hard to own performances or be THE standout (subjective obviously as a lot of people always liked her), but i agree with your last statement and i think it also applies to what i said
