79th Anniversary of D-Day

At C&T, we're based not far from the Strait of Dover; this part of the English Channel was at the centre of the web of deception, woven by the London Controlling Section, to cover up the crucial invasion that came to be known as D-Day. The aim of this deception was to convince the German high command that the main Allied landings would take place in the Pas-de-Calais, across the Strait of Dover - not where they were actually planned to take place, in Normandy. Today, 6th June 2023, marks 79 years since D-Day, we remember those who were a part of this great invasion.
