# GHOSTIN, David Mann was an amazing artist he caught the mood of the MC culture at its peak. He was the heart and soul of the Biker Lifestyle. I remember his work back in the day. He was a person with a passion for life in the biker tradition. The other great artist of MC culture is David Uhl. Uhl does paintings of the ladies of MC culture, in fact, I believe he was at Sturgis this year, I didn't go this year, but heard he was there. David Uhl would be the Norman Rockwell of MC art. His art is beautiful and he captures the spirit of the Lady Biker. Both are legendary artists in the MC culture. Great video!
I was tattooing out in Sturgis for the 70th anniversary, and they had a big setup of his paintings maybe 30 feet from where I was at. It was awesome to get done doing a piece, and being able to just walk over and get even more inspired by his work!! Dude had some beautiful work!

I'm interested in when David mann illustrated the EASY RIDERS wings and skull logo. I have come across a zippo type lighter made in Japan with the logo on it. I would love to put its history with the item. Any one know?
Great artist. If you like his style look at George the painter as well he is a biker artist as well and when it was around he was writing for the horse magazine
Every time I hear about Easy Rider Magazine it reminds me of Ben Hardy the guy who built Captain America from the Easy rider movie. The story as I understand it was the MC's at the time were pretty racist and they really wanted his bikes in the magazine but he told them that of they couldn't show his picture in the magazine they couldn't show his bikes. I mean his bikes literally inspired generations of bikers! Yes I also think you should do a video about Ben Hardy!
I had an Army buddy that had all the magazine this artist contributed to and some idiot room mate pulled the poster out of them he went OG on him and drove him thru my wall next door to him what a fight.

I would love to review your collection for a video that would be fun
@@DemonsRow yea that would be cool. I haven’t pulled them out in a long time. Last time I looked at them was when I caught my boys when they were younger sneaking some out of his garage 😂…… obviously for the art 🤣. Maybe over the winter some time we can hook up. I’m in Delaware.
Send me some stuff
@@DemonsRow as I come across it I will. I don’t have the money to own any of his paintings
Oh in the Biker community . . . David Mann is the "ARTIST MANN" (Y) GHOSTIN in Pa. Baby (Y)

Very interesting thanks
Much love julie
Every time I hear about Easy Rider Magazine it reminds me of Ben Hardy the guy who built Captain America from the Easy rider movie.
The story as I understand it was the MC's at the time were pretty racist and they really wanted his bikes in the magazine but he told them that of they couldn't show his picture in the magazine they couldn't show his bikes.
I mean his bikes literally inspired generations of bikers!
Yes I also think you should do a video about Ben Hardy!
Remember in ghose days everypne was divided
He had a distinct style 🎨
Yes
RIP TO THE MAN!!
🙏🙏🙏
Sureno luv sent your way.
I had an Army buddy that had all the magazine this artist contributed to and some idiot room mate pulled the poster out of them he went OG on him and drove him thru my wall next door to him what a fight.
Pulling a tree and Bush on a motorcycle is a damned good way to get a stay in the hospital
