Massive respect to y’all for bringing this topic up. If I may add to the conversation: 3%er’s are not an American construct, rather, 3%er’s are Omni-historical! The idea-as I have come to understand-reaches back through ALL recorded history as what percent of a society, faced with tyranny it takes to stand up for what they know is right. A perfect example is the Greeks holding back the massive forces of Xerxes (for the lay-person; see the film “300”, paying close attention to the ending voice over.) Or, perhaps y’all may enjoy the story of William Wallace and his fighting Scots. Or for a more relevant and timely example I suggest an in-depth study of Afghanistan covering the last, 50-60 years as their 3%er’s (the Taliban) have held back two major world powers: 1st, the USSR and 2nd, the USA.
A 3%er is anyone willing to stand for what’s right, no matter the cost, no matter their personal abilities and contributions. When the time comes to stand or fall, the 3% of American society will reveal itself.
As I see it; 3%er’s and 1%er’s want the same thing: FREEDOM! The question is; how far will we allow the SOCIALIST AGENDA to go before we coalesce into ONE cohesive movement?

The concept of the 3% comes from the American Revolution and the theory that it was approximately 3% of the American colonists that stood on the battlefield against the British regulars.

Hes right about discrimination. We are labeled as domestic terrorists. Its such a fucked up way. We served our country and of we get into trouble, the system takes pictures of our tattoos. The system is pushing for us 3pers to be put on no fly lists and many other things. Its a fucked up situation and it sucks that the government we served once again turns their back on veterans

BTW, I was pretty impressed with your story about how you were all signed up to go in the Navy to get your life back on track as a young man. Didn't work out apparently because of the judge but it says a lot about you as an individual. Props and carry on.

I took an oath when I joined the Navy in 1986. Just because I got out doesn't mean that oath stops.
I was part of the 3% in my state. They never did anything but lose members. Allow people to join that shouldn't have been allowed. Talk about meeting. Talk about training. Talk about doing. But I didn't see any action. They were afraid to get out and do anything because they always needed more training. Most had no military experience - even the leadership. Needless to say I was dissappointed.
Training is important - but so is action. When a group that could intervien chooses to sit back and do nothing while things are happening all around them might as well not even exist.
Some training actually occurs in the field. You cannot train for every single scenario. And the fact that a lot of these people have no military background - they have no idea how they will actually act once placed in certain situations. Just because you can shoot a gun doesn't mean when the time comes that you will. A lot of people think they would do it. I've seen people freeze in the moment filled with fear and indecision.
Is this as a whole or the group you were with or is it like chapters of a nation?

Okay let me answer this question clearly. No you do not have to be military to be a part of the 3% movement. Although it will help you to be takin in by a 3% militia and yes there is a difference between being in a 3% militia and being in the 3% movement and it's all about how you place yourself on the board.

I was coming to say the same thing. III% is an idea or a way of thought more than it is an actual "organization". The bases is that only 3% of the population in early America actually supported rebelling against the tyrannical monarchy, the other 97% were forced to take a side after the fact.

I was in a 3%er group for years; I can tell you that the narrative that has been woven about 3%er's is dead wrong, and D.U.K 3per is right on point. I'm black (obviously) and came out as transgender and a lesbian while with my group and most of them handled the whole thing with respect and grace. They knew it wouldn't change the way I handled myself and it didn't; in fact I flourished being able to express myself freely for the first time.
Honestly 1%er culture and 3%er culture feel kind of similar to me having binged watched this channel for a few days. The discipline and dedication, and the level of trust that develops because of those are all there. Like, nowhere else would I be comfortable standing around a bunch of guys with loaded firearms and nobody explicitly in charge of the range; unless you train with those people that's a recipe for disaster.

I did the club and militia thing when I was younger, and learned a few things.
I speak from experience and not paranoia when I say that you never know who the guy next to you really is, especially in this day and age.
Some organizations are "deep cover" government operations designed to root out "subversives" and keep tabs on it's members and networks.
Their purpose is not to make arrests or prevent "crimes" from occurring, but are decades long operations to keep you in their sights.
The old saying "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" was never truer than in this situation.
If you really believe that the shit will one day hit the fan, and it will, and truly desire to be a freedom fighter, I suggest the following-
NEVER join an organization, subscribe to a publication, or do a Google search that can be traced back to you.
NO social media presence.
NO T shirts, bumper stickers, etc, etc....
NO protesting or marching.
NEVER discuss race, religion, politics, or anything of a sensitive personal nature with anyone.
NEVER purchase or own a registered firearm.
NEVER purchase ammo yourself, but have three or four people you KNOW that you can trust make purchases in amounts that don't arouse suspicion.
NEVER keep your resources in one location, or confine yourself to one location where you plan to make a "stand" and hold them off.
One Reaper drone strike will take you out of the equation.
In the coming conflict, I don't care how numerous you are, what resources you have available, or how well entrenched you think you can be, the numbers, resources, and intel will always be against you.
Anonymity, mobility, access to resources and improvisation are key elements in waging guerilla warfare, and the only effective way to wear out and defeat an enemy of greater strength.
Vietnam taught us that.
Or should have.
Identified, known threats will be neutralized at the very start, while the guerilla fighters will be free for awhile longer to fight the fight.
I know it's more fun and feels like you're actually doing something when you belong to a group, but when the shit hits the fan, it's a whole nother story.
Just one undiscovered,well prepared, well armed guy who has his shit together and is trained to wait, can do a whole lot more damage than a squad can if they know you're coming.

Okay let me answer this question clearly. No you do not have to be military to be a part of the 3% movement. Although it will help you to be takin in by a 3% militia and yes there is a difference between being in a 3% militia and being in the 3% movement and it's all about how you place yourself on the board.

right on brother, Some think it's a mindset, Most believe it's part of an active group. As you might know, and this is for others on here, The Three Percenter's - Original disbanded in February. the founder, under stress from what happened in January in DC, decided to quit, and disband the III% name. We, the members of the TTPO formed a new alliance, grounded on the same principals as the TTPO, We are The American Patriot Coalition (APC). There are many groups and organizations calling themselves III%'ers, only because the logo is so easily had, and copied. The III% name got drug into the ground over the winter, with ultra Right Wing groups calling themselves III%'ers. that the Real III%ers were being targeted.
I was part of the III%'ers before the downfall, i hated to see the logo go, it was very recognizable.
Want to part of the regrouped Patriot movement? look up American Patriot Coalition. find a local chapter, go to a meeting.

@ John Hemminger Look up The Three Percenters Original (TTPO) or The Federation of United Patriots (FedUP). There are more as well. I was part of both and thought they were both a joke. Yes here were some good people but also idiots. Best bet is to get a group of your closet friends and family. Train together, and don’t call yourself anything.

According to the 2nd amendment the people, all Americans citizens, are the milita. I didn't serve in the military because I would've deployed to Iraq and I believed, and still do, that the Iraq War was an illegal war just for resources.
