In earlier alphas the AI was super customizable to the point that they were scary good. Like, you could change individual things like reaction times, cones of vision, accuracy, rate of fire, movement speed, it was crazy. They removed that system to overhaul it, and set the AI to some default values.
@@kg_canuck Actually they just hid it behind a different setting, was playing with some buddies of mine a couple weeks ago and you can still access those settings, they're just more hidden away
@@spectre6612 i remember asking a dev about it and yeah he said it was still there but at that time you had to edit config files. Good to know its back in-game in some form
It doesn't seams that solider holding that rifle in any realistic position whatsoever, that elbow sticking out so much...that isn't even natural position of one hand like that. As if cutting grass with a scythe...
@Homemade Being someone who is seriously obsessed with this game. I'd like to say that the AI is very jank. The problem with the AI is not the ability to compete with the player, we simply gag at the wall staring, and looking around cluelessly even if the player is right infront of them. Vet AI is a mixed bag, and even Vet difficulty has its own jank. The game is great though, especially with the newest 1033 release.

And the gunplay. GB has the most realistic shooting I’ve ever seen in a game. RoN has WAY to much recoil for 5.56 weapons
Turned this game into a round of R6S terrorist hunt.
The gunplay is fantastic in this game but the AI is so bad. It's a quantity over quality situation

They've said they've been working on the AI for like a year. I wonder how far along they are.
Those AI may as well be cardboard cutouts. The game looks great, though. Hope that aspect of it improves.

Its called C-Clamp, dunno the exact reason but I think it was something about controlling your weapon better and being on target faster.
also grants the ability to use your thumb as a guideline as to where you’re aiming if you don’t have time to sight in.

Spell soldier correctly, and go to war. I understand this is a game but you can't comment on realistic until you're in an actual gunfight.
