i HAVE WATCHED THIS Video and others on this very subject ; learning from a Video(es) is tough but when you have no other way ; I am just now grasping this lecture and thx Nouri
17:00, Natural turn on 1, lowering the right side. Othewise(lowering the left side) it will be late for the 2. Progressive of the tailbone is also important.
Asis Khadjeh Nouri, I apprecate the lecture, unforuately, I have neither a dance partner that will work as hard as I do and a Ballroom teacher that understands "Ballroom Principles"; so videos is all I have
I have a question! Why is this type of natural turn so different compared to the other natural turns I see others do? Is this version just higher technique? When the gentlemen preps, then launches his right foot toward him to the right, just before moving his left foot forward, there is indeed a pos. Why do most natural nurns Viennese Waltz don't do that? What is this version of Viennese waltz considered? Gold, silver, International or standard?
The answer and the key would be the principle of Drive. The dancers in this vid are of course international top level competitors. And at this level they ought to do this outstanding. Without drive their is no Swing. And without Swing their is no Sway. The good old if not ancient theorama in Standard dancing.

10:30, leg speed is the clockwork, body speed is the melody.
19:00, passing the partner with the face....brings out the effect.
19:00, VW, the idea is to pass each other.
18:00, Man shapes on 2, 3 for controlling the rotation and progression.
Lady reacts to man's shape.
Very interesting class.
What was the song played from 18:14?
Salut by Hélène Ségara and Joe Dassin
Feet rhythm is different with the body rhythm, otherwise it's looked 2 dimensions.
Tradition is good, progression and development are better.
You are a hidden judge lol
15:02 explains the concept of 3 D dancing

Epic Ballroom Studio.
Slow motion is difficult. Teacher talked too much at wrong position.
