The Snowie Tricycle - The Ultimate Shaved Ice Bike

- Here is a quick video to show you the new Snowie Shaved Ice Tricycles. These are coolest Shaved Ice Bikes available. You will see two options that are present with Carl and a third that he references that we show some other footage of while he is speaking.
We begin the video with our most popular Tricycle. It has a cold plate freezer that will drop to -40˚ and can keep your ice or frozen shaved ice for multiple days.
I can hear your thoughts, “Frozen Shaved Ice? What?” But that is exactly what I mean. We tested this at the Snowie Summit to get people's reactions and it was very positive.
You need to make sure you do a few things for your pre-shaved ice to work correctly. First, you can use any of our shaved ice machines, but we highly recommend that you use the Snowie Block Ice Shaver, it will give you the finest snow. As you know from other videos, we would normally tell you to temper your block, but when you are creating pre-shaved ice, we recommend that you use the block in its coldest state. We also recommend that you keep your cups as cold as possible so that when you shave into them, the snow doesn't melt agains the warm cup. That will then freeze and form a thin shell around your snow. You want to “flash” freeze it as much as possible to make sure this shaved ice is great when it is flavored later. If you do not use the Snowie Block Ice Shaver and decide to use one of our Cube Shaved Ice Machines, the Snowie 3000, Snowie 1000, or even the Little Snowie 2 Home Ice Shaver, you will want your ice as cold as possible. This will give you the best snow possible.
The other two bikes house different, optional freezers and coolers. One will take a block freezer like you would get from Home Depot or other appliance shops. It will not get as cold, and it will not maintain that cold for as long. But it is a cheaper option and if you sell your product quickly then the extended freeze time is not an issue. You can also sell your shaved ice in a traditional fashion, meaning that you will keep bags of ice in the freezer or cooler and then shave your product when your customer wants them. You can do this with a battery by using a DC version of one of our ice shavers, or you can use the Little Snowie 2 with an inverter and a battery. The inverters will not work on our larger shaved ice machines, they are simply too powerful.
The cooler on the third bike that Carl mentions, and we put screenshots up about, is simply cooler. It is not a freezer. You can freeze plates and put them in the cooler with your ice, or pre-frozen shaved ice, and it will work quite well.

I just saw this and already have a snow cone machine but obviously not as good as this, they even said they were the top of the line but being an ice fanatic this machine makes better ice for this after watching many videos. I will be buying one from you this week and give away the other one. I am so excited, we love this as a treat and the neighbor kids know I have it so you can imagine all I make, even now with social distancing I make it work because it is so unique and fun. These bikes are awesome, I am so glad I found you, thanks for all the great videos to watch. Happy Summer!

since you are serving an edible product. They usually want to see where you prepare your product and that requires a commisary, a separate kitchen other than your home kitchen. That's how it is here in PA.

You mentioned not being required to notify the health department because shaved ice is pre-made. Do you know if this is also permitted in the state of Maryland ? What would I need to legally operate this in the state of Maryland ?
Due to each state having different guidelines, you will need to contact your health department and find out what their health requirements are.
Do you have other color options other than white on your bikes?
There are blue bikes like the one in the video as well. But as far as the front bike, yes, it only comes in white for now.
Question did you decide to discontinue the tricycle on the left? Got excited and went to the site and it wasn't there. I thought it was a great idea for those who want to build up to the Bus you offer especially if you are trying to start a business. I live on a fixed income cuz I can take I take care of my mother, and I didn't know if I would qualify for financing for the bus so thinking taking baby steps into earning potential of getting the one that can hold more pre-made Shave Ice then once I get financially more stable could upgrade to the van and do bigger events.
Wait trade show did your company attend?
We attend several shows. Our main shows this year are IAAPA in Florida (November), Toy Fair New York (February), ARA - Anaheim (February), IHHS Chicago (March) and some various events. If you are looking to see our equipment in person, I would come to the Snowie Summit. You will get a lot of hands on experience with our equipment at that show.

Do you mean your own stand / bike, etc?\ The short answer is yes, but we need to approve your stand and how you will use our name. Also if you use our name, we require that you purchase and sell our flavors.
