- I wanted to try Symphobia 2 so I made this orchestral arrangement for "Flesh and the Power it Holds" by Death, one of my all time favorite metal band. I wanted to add more textures and dynamics to the arrangement but my crappy computer could barely handle a limited amount of tracks, anyways, I hope you like it.

Awesome how Death's music translates to orchestral so naturally. Really validates the genius behind the music composer/song writer Chuck and all the other great musicians he played with. These are the reasons as to why Death/Control Denied is my all time favorite band. Their music really tells a story in every song. It's also as real as it gets. Chuck had the self taught free flowing play style which really allowed him to stick out with a unique sound only he truly had.

Excellent job! I know personally how challenging this is ; ). It's a lot of fun to play with different textures and timbres in the music of Death. I really like the woodwind arpeggios at 3:44. and those big timpanis! I always meant to do an orchestration of this, but that long slow interlude was so intimidating, LOL
Thank you!, I actually got the motivation to do this after watching your "Without Judgement" version, and yes that interlude was definitely intimidating haha, specially the guitar solo which I tried to replicate exactly as the original with the flute but didn't quite work lol

That solo, uhm zolo, on flute is genious, wouldnt have predicted that instrument choice, but it is so fitting. This would be an awesome concert if this were to happen

I went looking for exactly this kind of thing, you do not disappoint. I think a huge amount of metal works amazingly well in this style.
This is a beautiful rendition. Really shows how classical music is one of the biggest inspirations for metal music
I know that Chuck would have been stoked about this, imagine if he lived longer we would have gotten an S&M type thing from Death/Control Denied.
This is way cooler than I thought it would be it's my favorite death song huge fan and I didn't know what this would be like it's like a horror film score a a list one

hey thank you!, I programmed everything directly in my DAW with midi so I don't have a score, and I'm not very good at writing music sheet, but I'll try to make one anyways out of the midi sequence, I'll post it here when it's done
