hydro rush: place the factory closer to the hydro to reduce walking time. The further away the hydro is, the more it matters. It might even be required to build one single pgen (after the factory, before the mexes) to brigde the power gap when the hydro is more distant.
I used to get anxious for PVP too, but it's not so bad! If you are competitive with the M28, you're totally fine for multiplayer. I also have a noob-friendly Discord, there are lots of learners that are down for casual practice games on there too! discord.gg/xAyYEZuyut
Just make sure to ALWAYS load 5 engis at least. With Seraphim you want to use the extra capacity indeed, so you might want to support your landfactory early on to make sure you have enough engis before the transport finishes. The capacity for Aeon, UEF and Cybran are the same (6)
Way ahead of you! Here's a video that covers that exact topic: th-cam.com/video/mRSvpqhjJ7U/w-d-xo.html It's in a casting format, but there's a lot of good information in there. But you're right, that's a great video idea for my typical format as well!
From one teacher to another, if you're teaching advanced things to people, you can assume they know the basics. Cut down the filler and the commentary. Boil down your information. (What) "Here's the build order we're going to do:" -Land factory -Geo power -Air factory into transport (Why) "The goal is to get out a transport as fast as possible to rush out island expansions and this build order will give me just enough power to pull off a fully loaded transport. " (How) "Now watch as I execute this strategy in real time and show you how it can give you an early game advantage." Cue up 5-10 minutes of real time footage showing you doing the build and ending up in a good position. (Review and Practice) "This is what I did. This is where it got me and now I'm in a good position to do this that and the other thing. Try it for yourself in a few skirmish maps to get the hang of it. Moving on to 1st Bomber..."
Hey thanks for the feedback. The TH-camr Heaven makes FAF videos in a very style similar to what you’re talking about, I definitely recommend checking out their channel if you haven’t already. Personally, I found those videos a bit too fast as a total beginner, and I didn’t fully understand some of the concepts. My goal is to get new players into the game, and the best way I’ve found to do that is to break down every single concept to the most basic level so that even someone who has never played the game before can understand. Cheers
It is Supreme Commander! Specifically, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Forever! If you don't know what that is, I have a video on it here, hope to see you around! th-cam.com/video/IzYdv1S5XLk/w-d-xo.html

Are there any faction variations here?
The transports costs the same, but don't they have various capacity?
