- Wondering how to disenroll kids from public school? Despite the rumors, it's actally really easy. When we decided to homeschool, I was terrified to pull my son out of public school. However, it was quick, easy, free, and only took 24 hours. In one day, we went from public school to homeschool. I'll break down the easy steps for you in this video. Welcome to homeschool, friends!

I live in California I needed to fill out a Educational Affidavit Form . Also enrolled my child in a Charter home school program pretty easy. 🤩

I’m in AZ and use to work as an SLPA and ATS. I unenrolled from our school, which was a quick form. I did not have to tell them why and then I had to go to the county and fill out a letter of intent and easy! Also, you aren’t required to start school till a certain age, so you don’t have to stress about it if you are under that age!
First time home schooler. I have my number and I just watched your video. I am going to write my daughter's letter of intent and hopefully we can star tomorrow. So happy and scared but ready!!!

Hello. I am a new subscriber and have been enjoying all the videos and information provided about homeschooling! I also live in NC, the western part of the state. This video has been very helpful as we are preparing for homeschooling this upcoming year. My daughter is in Kindergarten and we are planning on homeschooling going forward. I did want to ask if you have a sample letter of the letter of intent to take to the school, or a link to a sample letter that I could go off of, or what to type up in the letter? I also wanted to ask should I unenroll now or wait until the start of the school year in August? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

We got a trial version with the covid shutdown from March- May and really enjoyed it so we decided to pursue homeschooling full time this year! So I live in Texas and I can’t find anywhere on that website about opening my homeschool.. does that mean I don’t have to do anything? It also isn’t letting me download the letter to fill out without a membership 🤦🏼♀️ I think I’ll just go up to the school to do that. I hate to take him out because a lot of the people that work there go to our church but with all the COVID stuff going around and having a 3 month old also I don’t want to risk either of their health.

i get treated really bad in my school and one day during lunch I threw up on my tray and went to the school nurse and told them that i threw up and she took my temp and i didn't have a fever and i asked if she could call my dad to bring me some meds and i got sent to the office and i got in trouble and now i am at a place called ASC its alternative school suspension and i there because i got sick

It’s not too late at all. You can be unenrolled at any time, even in the middle of the school year.
Just wondering, why wouldn’t you do the accreditation through Abeka? They would keep all the grades and records of your children’s education. At least I think...😬 sincerely just wondering if there is something I don’t know. Im starting my son in K5 this fall and chose accreditation for this. ~Karen

So I’m looking into homeschooling her starting in the fourth grade.
If your child is apart the special ed program, do you have to notify them first before starting the process of taking them out of public school.

Hi Kimberly, I'm homeschooling my girls rest of school year. In state of KY . How do I prove they passed. Because when we move to GA. I'm putting them back in public schools.
I'm not sure how the laws work in your state. I suggest going over to HSLDA.org to view your state regulations and laws and going from there.
