    Completing the friendly monsters sidequest before tackling Ozma offers some advantages: Ozma will no longer be "out of reach", and it therefore becomes possible to hit it with physical attacks. Ozma will absorb Shadow-elemental attacks (and thus be healed by Doomsday) unless the sidequest is completed, which weakens Ozma to Shadow.
    Without completing the friendly monsters sidequest Ozma still easy, just use fixed damage attacks like Limit Glove, Thievery, Dragon's Crest, Frog Drop, Spare Change...
    The purpose of this video is to show you how quickly you can defeat Ozma, that's why I haven't stolen anything from him either. If we think about it for a moment, at this point in the game, why would I want to steal those items? What good would they be to me?
    Physical Damage Bonuses:
    ‣ Steiner - Bird Killer (1.5x damage), MP Attack (1.5x damage), Holy Elem-Atk weapon (1.5x damage), Holy Elem-Atk raising helm (1.5x damage)
    ‣ Amarant - Bird Killer (1.5x damage), MP Attack (1.5x damage), Wind Elem-Atk weapon (1.5x damage), Wind Elem-Atk raising accessory (1.5x damage)
    ‣ Zidane - Bird Killer (1.5x damage), MP Attack (1.5x damage)
    ‣ Freya - Bird Killer (1.5x damage), MP Attack (1.5x damage), Holy Elem-Atk weapon (1.5x damage), Holy Elem-Atk raising accessory (1.5x damage)
    ✴ Small example of how Physical Damage Bonuses are applied, let's say Steiner's base damage is 10:
    10 * 1.5 = 15
    15 * 1.5 = 22.5 ➼ 22 Note: The number is truncated (round down) after each multiplication.
    22 * 1.5 = 33
    33 * 1.5 = 49.5 ➼ 49
    Notes:
    - Ozma always starts the battle with 1599/1600 ATB. So unless you're also one frame away from full and hit "Attack" frame perfectly, Ozma will act first.
    Its ATB doesn't refill like everybody else. When its move is over, it immediately queues the next one, so it's kinda always full.
    If you don't input any command, when Ozma's turn is over, its ATB goes back to 1599 and 1 frame after is full again. However if you do an attack it stays at 1600.
    - Charge! makes all Near Death (yellow HP) party members 'Attack'.
    - Ozma's Flare Star deals 50 times each character's level. 99x50=4950
    I had all of them with around 5000HP to get them in Near Death status for Steiner's Charge!. I had with the 4 characters Pearl Armlet equiped, this gave them 0 Magic Evasion to ensure that no one evade the attack "Flare Star".
    - It was not necessary to be at level 99 to do this damage, even at level 1 they can do 9999 damage if you have a minimum knowledge of the game mechanics. I also had the Excalibur II in my possession, I didn't use it because i didn't need it, what for?
    - Small visual bug: After using the ability Charge! the word "miss" appears and Ozma does an evasion animation, both things should not appear, they are a visual bug of the Moguri Mod. I contacted the creator of the mod (Snouz) and hopefully he will fix it soon.
    - When trying to escape, some frames of the 'Attack' command animation are skipped, THAT'S ALL!!! (I don't understand why people make up in the comments that running away makes Ozma not attack or something like that... running away only skips a few frames of the Attack command animation, that's all lol)
    Ozma was defeated in 46 seconds, counting from the appearance of the ATB gauge to when the final damage has been dealt.
