Tbh I feel like the shot isn’t at anyone specific, but more of a fill in the blank, like you can put anyone on that blank and I’m still better than them type of shit
It's to K Dot.... He put Dots on screen and not close together like a pause in the sentence would be like..... Same with the throne line.... Kendrick is considered to be sitting on the throne right now...also "are you a prophet or just here for profit" referencing the way Kendrick talks and " doesn't like being famous" but has been repeatedly doing things to show that was false like a giant pop out concert on Amazon Prime and then paying out of pocket for the super bowl halftime show...... Everyone pays out of pocket for the show in case y'all didn't know..... "People at the door knocking I know the block is watching"..... "I don't politic with the policies of Parliament" meaning he doesn't have the same policies as the leader, the leader being J Cole and the apology after the diss...... Put your top five in the archive..... Since the battle many more are publicly speaking about where they put k dot and about cole not being a part of it....... And take into consideration that before Cole backed out he was repeatedly saying he wished someone from that side would so much as speak a syllable of his name..... Then Cole apologized...... He was ready for war he was not ready to sleep peaceful😅
@@christophermhudson09 The reason Cole backed out is not because he didn't want the smoke. It's because Kendrick is trying to do something bigger than rap by exposing a lot of industry abusers and exploiters. Kendrick let Cole know this wasn't about traditional rap beef but exposing abusive and exploitation in the industry. J Cole supports that. In fact, it'd be extremely weird if he didn't support that. I love JID, but this isn't about rap beef for Kendrick. It's much, much bigger and more important than that. That's why Cole moved out of the way. He would be hindering justice for the abused if he didn't.
Coulda been talking about Kenny tbh, he said Dot on his tee, he said “you a prophet? or you out for profit”, and when the name blanked out there was 3 dots on the screen, could mean K Dor, or could mean the big 3
It is possible he could be saying dot and when he said it the subtitles threw an ellipsis up on screen which is three dots I’m definitely reaching though😭
Internal rhyme scheme he could say “drake” external he can say “cole” and earlier in the song he did say Dot and other stuff
Hov.. especially because hes 1/2 of the "throne" from the line before.
We need the album
JID is definitely big 3 for the new generation. Like its not even close.
That grin when you heard "Draaaaake" 😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He’s not dissing anyone lol
He Saying He Better Than Drake. Drake Ain’t Got No Friends, Maybe Diddy.

I think he is aiming at drake
It could be all 3 tbh and it’ll all fit
Hov.. especially because hes 1/2 of the "throne" from the line before.
new glokk out

Na you’re not
It’s to Kendrick lol
DID HE SAY DOT ON HIS TEE??? am I reachin?
2:57 first time listening to this but sounds like he meant hov like jay z i def could be wrong tho
rhyme scheme wise i think hov would be the best fit, i think only 2 main options are dot or hov bc theyre short enough and fit the rhyme scheme
@@sossboiialso a bit earlier he mentions the throne
