I hope you are doing well, Dr. As Recent MRCem osce reforms have resulted in seats being given priority to natives, followed by GMC registered individuals, and last, IMG. I passed MRCem Step 2, but because of oversaturation, I was not able to get a place for OSCE. Will going through MRCP till Steps to GMC registration be advantageous in securing seat for OSCE ? After completing a year of internship, you will become eligible to take the Part-1 Exam. Once you pass the Part-1 Exam, you will be able to sit for the MRCP-2 Written Exam.

MRCP is the world-recognized postgraduate degree where you will have lots of opportunities that only you can show the world of medicine exceptionally. After completed the MRCP, You can get the GMC registration in the UK after doing IELTS / OET only and you can get a job in the UK. You can get Jobs in Australia, Middle East, Singapore, India, and any European country after fulfillment of their own country’s criteria of registration of practicing medicine.
PLAB is the Medical license examination which is the entrance exam to practice in the UK. PLAB is not a Degree and you won’t be able to show it in any other country. We will recommend you definitely, it will be better for you to do the MRCP instead of PLAB and there is no doubt about it.
